It's now called Essence. The food is amazing, their bun bo hue is to die for. Their rice dishes are tasty and the flavors of their food are on point. It's definitely a great place for lunch and dinner. Try their porridge, It's to die for. Their pho is delicious and real authentic. The menu has good variety without having 500 items, which means they're consistent. The interior is a nice open floor plan utilizing the space as best they can.

OMG this place is delicious. Pho ap Cho don is where it's at! Bun bo hue was and I didn't get an msg headache after so that was amazing. The big kicker was the service!! Super nice lady Van. She played with my kids, beyond attentive, I really did not see that coming in a Vietnamese restaurant. Prices were well below what I'm used to paying so we will be back over and over again for sure. Awesome find on Yelp!

I love the food here. My friends and I used to come here once month after our 24 hour shift to get breakfast. We always get bun bo hue, bun rieu, or chao long. It's always excellent. The only down side is that it takes forever for food to come out. Almost as if they're making it from scratch. I initially thought it's because we come so early, they're still preparing the food since we come very close to opening time. But yesterday I came during lunch to order Togo and it still took just as long. Not sure why. But the food is so good that's why I keep coming back.

Had the most random cravings and I never went here since I always saw men having coffee and/or smoke chats hanging out, but so glad I did!Got the cari ga (curry chicken) with baguette for dipping, bun bo hue (spicy noodle dish), and chao ga (chicken porridge). Sadly, they didn't have mi quang in the morning when I went, but I'm excited to try it next time.Everything tasted good. My favorite was the chao ga. I finished that immediately. The prices are still decent here! Glad I can get all these different options in one place instead of driving around the OC. Portions were good, didn't feel like they skimped. Ladies at the register were nice. My new go-to spot!

We came here on a late Sunday afternoon and there was only one other table. The food was good but slow to come out. Like they had to make everything from scratch. We ordered takeout and they kept the bag at the register while I waited at the table. They didn't bring the food until I asked them why it took so long. Then they forgot a part of my order. They had sufficient staff but everyone seemed scattered and pointed to someone else. Mind you, we were one of two tables. Very disappointing.

Loves their Banh Tieu , they are so delicious. Always have to eat one first before I order food there. Most of the dishes on the menu are so good and the place is clean . All the staffs there are so nice and friendly.Definitely recommended.Oh, and the prices on all items are reasonable compared to other placeswith the same menu.

**Takeout review**I called in and order a swai fish porridge. I had no problem with calling the order it and the order was ready when I got there. 50 cent charge if you use a credit card for a less than $10 purchase. The porridge is more on the liquid-y side and was absolutely perfect for a rainy day.

This place is good for what it is. It's a great place to go if you want some decent Viet food for the cheap. The food came out quickly and the service was surprisingly good. They smiled every time they came to our table--we have that effect sometimes. The coffee was strong. We were surprised we were charged extra for tea. It would have been nice to know that when we requested it, but whatever.

I go here because of the location off 405. Nothing special. Lately I caught them selling left over food in the plastic containers for the next day. Rare beef, bi pork skin, etc, must be discarded at the end of the day. They keep leftover in the freezer to sell the next day. Gross. Avoid.

This place is such a rude establishment, they yell at you for no reason. I Do not speak Vietnamese, but I go often with my coworker who speaks the language and she is always so happy to go there and tips a lot. Today she was accused of not paying a bill and was told she "dine and dashed" and that is not the case. She pays everywhere and always tips well so for this worker to just come up to her and tell her she didn't pay a bill is ridiculous. She loved this place so much but after today, this place lost 10 people who would go eat there because at our workplace we would always go since its right down the street. If I could give no stars I would.
