Before attending a concert at The Hard Rock Casino, we looked for a dinner option on the way, to avoid any large dining crowds at the Casino. (The Buffet was closed this day.) We found Bill's Place on a Google search, and were so glad we did. In the heart of Wheatland, what we found was a gem. Not sure who "Bill" is, but if you're looking fr a relaxed good time at a local bar, go see Diane at Bill's Place. She makes great drinks & is a hoot. Careful, she's got the magic touch when rock dice. Great place!!!

We had lunch at Bills after dropping off a truckload of hay. My son had a steak sandwich and I had a cheese burger with all the fixings. The steak and burger were seasoned to perfection. The fries were the string fries - very tasty. If you're passing Wheatland do yourself a favor and stop at this little gem! Since it was early lunch, did not have anything from the bar - but it looked tempting. Also, the price was right!
