I order food from here pretty often and have never experienced issues until now. I placed an order 4 hours before they opened and immediately tried to cancel via text message response to my order confirmation ("Reply to send us a message") and email. Either they recently changed their store hours or I forgot that they don't open until 4pm on Fridays. I was trying to place an ASAP order, but I no longer needed it after realizing the store wouldn't open for 4 more hours. The store never responded to either communication (now a week since my cancellation request) and I just lost 30 minutes of my life needing to dispute this online and over the phone with my bank. So my negative experience relates to their lack of communication. I like their food, but whether or not I receive this refund will influence if I come back or not.

Came in today Friday 03/01/24 saw the vegan sign and said to myself vegan . So I said I'll have a go at it and to my surprise was amazed with the carnitas torta that I ordered the meal was enough for two the vegetables and the beans meshed really well that you could taste everything that was in there and to boot I also ordered the asada fries talk about big portions this lady has it down to the science. I'm not a vegan fan but I'll tell you this much out of all the spots to eat she beats them all by far and her prices are really great. If your looking for something different and with a delicious taste trust me stop in and buy something you will be amazed how good it taste. And this is coming from a guy who loves his meat and potatoes. Will be back soon .

I love Cena Vegan. I am not a vegan myself but the food is 10/10 - my favorite is the chicken tacos. Their salsa is so good and spicy!

Food: 3/5 The food was good! My husband and I bought the asada fries and the four tacos plate of asada. The protein was very flavorful and good, but the beans were a tad burnt. It wasn't something that bothered us as much but we could tell. The tortillas were from maíz. My husband liked them. I didn't as much. Overall the food was good, and the sauces in the asada fries were very good! Service: 5/5 Service was great! Super easy to order and the person taking orders helped us a lot. Ambiance: 4/5 The place is located inside the Nixon building filled with other stands. We had never been there and loved seeing so many people hanging out and just spending time. If you're not into loud places this isn't the place for you.

I have come here so many times and really loved it! Today, however, I noticed a lot of changes. Their tacos usually come with a lot of guacamole, but they now charge $3 for it. They usually have pickled red onions, but today we were given raw pieces of red onion. We usually get a side of salsa, but today it was put on top of the tacos directly somewhat sparingly. I understand times are hard I just think the difference is so abrupt and sad. Especially the red onions. I don't know who eats raw red onions on their tacos. The tacos were still good though.

They need a lot of work on their Uber orders. At this point I feel like they exclude our add ons on purpose. Every single time we order through Uber eats (frequently) we never get any tortillas that are supposed to come with the order or the extra side of tortillas that we PAID FOR. No salsa whatsoever that we have requested on the side. Not even utensils when asked. But when we order for pick up in person we never have this issue. Made the mistake of ordering it for our wedding and, like when we always order through Uber, we didn’t receive any tortillas, salsas, or utensils. It almost seems like they’re doing it intentionally, for whatever reason, refusing to acknowledge any of our requests for add ons that were selected and noted. Do better Cena Vegan, please. we enjoy your food, but not the service.

Very tasty, the best vegan Mexican food in town, county, state, states. We literally drow the whole country and came back from our road trip to get this food as a first thing back in LA. Great tortas, burritos, and tacos made authentic but vegan, healthy, and delicious. Try the loaded fries!Vegetarian options: Everything is plant-based.

Long time vegan here. First time ordering from here, SO happy to have more vegan options in Whittier! Pros: the price for the amount is pretty good!! Please don't change The asada tacos! Wow amazing flavor and texture! Cons: I ordered birria, and I think barbacoa, and al pastor. There's this "meat" that is used that I would not order again. In my opinion I've seen much better. It's more like a beancurd texture. It doesn't absorbe flavors like jackfruit (for example), but it looks like it's used in a lot of meat substitutes so it's probably here to stay. I'll just order asada

Wow!!! I am NOT a vegan but this is the best vegan food I have ever eaten! It doesn't taste healthy or vegan at all. Their food is so fresh and spicy and has that authentic feel. It's an inflation busting price and I loved the lady who served us! She answered all our questions. The food was done super fast too! We loved sitting in the beer garden eating our food :)

Best burritos ever! Y la agua de horchata is so delicious. I wish they would deliver to my place. Iam too far though. Best service ever feels like Iam ordering from my cousins shop! So friendly and helpful.
