This was my go to place in uptown and I'm sad to see they are no longer with us. I was craving the Lobster tacos and was getting ready to head over when I realized they closed the place down. I've never had lobster tacos soooo darn delicious and my life is now incomplete! Besides the food I always enjoyed the atmosphere. I felt like I was in A scene from Narcos (in a good way) and I loved being there with the live band. The head bartender was also amazing at his job. Nothing bad to say about this place.

Craft drinks, they are good, very smooth. Food was good as well, not the best seafood or anything but it was good. Service was good as well. They had a live band on a Saturday night which was fun, good for date night, or good for family dinner.

We came here for date night on a Friday. We were seated right away and the hostess was sweet. This is about where our good experience ends. Our waiter was snappy to take our order (not in a good way). He was extremely dry and not personable. This is something I can look past if all else makes up for it. Buuut. When the food finally came out, it completely lacked flavor. My soda was flat. We asked for water a couple times and didn't get refilled. The couple sitting across from us were checked on quite a few times more than us. When our server finally came back, he didn't check on us, simply stated "just to let you know, the kitchen is closing and you can't order any more food." Um?! Even the chips and salsa had no flavor. Sad to say, I don't see us returning here.

11/12/2021 On a Friday night, I came here for the live band called Café Caribe. I have been following them from time to time. I also tried the chicken tortilla soup and a lime margarita. I also enjoyed a shrimp cocktail with some lime and saltines. It already has hot sauce in it because I can taste and feel the heat. As the night went on, there were a few birthday celebrations so the band sang Happy Birthday. People also danced right in front of the band. A few more birthday announcements plus one of the staff members. They have outdoor seating too but not sure if you could enjoy the music as well as sitting indoors.

Had a dinner planned with family. We ordered starters...half of which were burned...how do you burn shrimp. Considering the fact that they decided to close the kitchen early because it was slow All of our meals were small portions and mostly burned. Do not recommend considering our bill was over $300.

I really tried to enjoy it :( For the chorizo omelette - the unsalted egg was like rubber. Super thick like a stale tortilla, and hard to chew. The chorizo inside was slightly overcooked. The red salsa on top was underwhelming. It was advertised to come with cheese but it literally only had a couple sprinkles on the top, could not really taste the cheese. It was very very bland. The caramelized onions inside were OK, but they didn't really add to the flavor of the omelette. I don't really think it complimented the rest of the food. The chipotle hashbrowns - i'm not really sure why it's called chipotle hashbrowns, because I thought it would have a more flavor. It was still very very very bland with a little bit of spice. But I was expecting it to taste like the smoky flavor of the chipotle pepper. I had to shower it in Tabasco to get some flavor, but still could not get over how unseasoned these were. I got a side of toast, and the butter that came with it was also unsalted. Basically everything I ate here today was 100% under-seasoned. If you actually like Mexican food I would not really recommend coming here. I will say the live band was nice, and the presentation of the food and the ambience was beautiful. but that's it. 99% of the time I'm the type of person to just take some leftovers home even if it wasn't my favorite. But unfortunately this food was so bad I could not even eat through half of it, and did not bother to take it home with me.

Try this place good music . Different food with style... Don't stop there.. Try the amazing Drinks... Server was on point. The live band was making this place pop. You got to bring your wife or freak of the week down. They will love it man! ?

Went and got seated right away. We ordered 2 drinks a niña fresa and one call away or something along thoat line. For starters we got chorizo sliders it wasn't your basic Mexican chorizo it had to be central American chorizo lots of flavor and juicy. Entrée we had a pulpo and camarones a la Diablo mild and salmon with smashed potatoes it all tasted spectacular and nice treat was the live music.

Nice bartender but pricing for liquor is way off. $17 for a Gibson Martini using Hendricks. The rest of your market is selling a Gibson Hendricks Martini on average for your area is approximately $14.50 which is 14% less which means that I normally drink 4 over three days during the week that's a significant savings by going elsewhere.

I can't remember our servers name but our service was great and we had a great experience for the first time. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The interior is also very nice and modern. I'd definitely come back!
