Food had a lot to be desired, I have eaten there before in fact prior to Covid I would go there at least once a week. Unfortunately this was not my first time back food it was not like it used to be Service was not like it used to be I'll atmosphere was not like it used to be. Not sure if I'm going to go back I was very disappointed and the cost of the food has gone up so high that it's not meeting the expectations of the look and the taste of the food

My family and I were very pleased with everything in general, manager John also took care of our request to accommodate one more person to our reservation, we were celebrating Mother's Day. All I can say is that we will be back, waitress service was excellent and very positive attitude and courteous.

. Came here for Mother's Day. It took about 30 minutes to check in and still wait to be seated due to the front desk staff/managers being in their on world. We had reservations at 2:45. Our waitress was very dry and clearly didn't want to be there. Hubby ordered 12 oz. Prime Rib.; you can see it was undercooked. He was brought a much smaller piece that was still as pink as the first one. That place has gone down hill now. The roof on the inside is just painted installation that is falling apart, the front desk staff (even the managers) are in a world of their own, the servers are clearly not happy to be there, the large chandeliers are SO dirty that you can see the dust on them and they weren't even serving all the menu items yesterday. We use to come here (before COVID) twice a month. The servers use to know our names and what we liked. My husband use to get a military discount but not anymore. I get this pandemic and inflation has messed up our world but every where we go the customer service just keeps he worse.

This was a great Mother's Day experience. I was able to get a reservation around 1 PM even though I waited a few days before the event. Service was great. The food was delicious. We love the prime rib.

I'm not sure if waitress was new? We asked her twice if we can get bread and she forgot. Then at the third time she said that they have a new thing where, if you want bread you have to ask for it. They don't automatically bring it out. Like if we never asked for it the first two times. I've been to black angus many times before and never had to ask for it.

The service was very good and the side dishes were very good, but the steak was somewhat tough, but the flavor was good. We encountered the same thing at the Black Angus in Cerritos - the Prime Rib was tough.

Although we liked the server at the bar she wasn't very attentive. We stacked our finished dishes to help but they weren't picked up until we were leaving. Had to get her attention to bring condiments that should have came with the meal. Also I ordered a salad and it came after my meal was served. In all fairness she was the only one behind the bar but we've had some really good servers at

Our waiter was fantastic. He was overwhelmed with a lot of different tables, but never stopped smiling, joked around with us and made our whole experience such a pleasure. I usually have a good experience at Black Angus in Whittier because the people who work there are really nice, but he made our experience great.

Excellent prime rib as always!! Love the Campfire feast - hope it is always on the menu! Server Andreana did an outstanding job attending to all our picky requests for dressings on the side, etc The manager John came over and remembered us from last time and greeted us and made sure everything was perfect! This location is very attentive to my immune compromised issues and seated us far away from others which is very accommodating and appreciated! We will be back definitely!

The kitchen did not get our meal order from the computer due to a glitch and we waited 45 minutes for our meal. The server was excellent and kept us informed and eventually after the Manager was again called to see us he made it right.

We had a blast at the birthday party for Black Angus! Service was great! Our server was so attentive even as busy as they were. The DJ played great music that had us all dancing in our seats and sometimes out in the aisle next to our table! Besides one drunk patron in the bar who got loud and rude the manager handled that quickly and quite well. Finally the jerk left. How embarrassing for his young son! Loved the cow bells we rang along with the music! Food was delicious and we left stuffed! Also enjoyed the DineLA menu!

Disappointed

This is quite a popular location, especially since we came during DineLA, but the staff handled everything beautifully. Our server, Rebecca, was extremely attentive and conscientious--she proactively brought us our soda refills before we were even finished or asked. She checked in on us at perfect intervals. The food was prepared perfectly and everything tasted great. We'll definitely be back.

Everything was good but they need to change their process for clearing tables. We watched servers clear tables but on at least three tables (ours included) the table was not wiped clean. Tables should be cleared by bus people and wiped clean at the same time, not one person clearing and a different person wiping table. But otherwise dinner and service were fine

Very disappointed in our steaks. This was the 58th Birthday celebration of Black Angus. We opted to order the promo dinner, The 1964 Steak which was a sirloin. Ordered medium rare, it looked great but was tough to cut - to unable to cut! The red mashed potatoes were cool and been on the plate for a while. Came with broccoli and hay stack onions. This is the 2nd recent visit where the sirloin was tough. We told the waitress about our previous experience and she said she would pass it on to the cook and make sure our steaks were better. They weren't! Black Angus has been our go to place for steak and lobster and a meal we could count on. We wonder what has happened. Is it due to the pandemic and who they are buying their beef from? Several visits back my prime rib wasn't tender either! We are disappointed. Music was good!
