Came and ate at JC's Kitchen for the first time today and I was impressed with the quality , presentation and taste of the food I haven't had good food like this in awhile I'll definitely be coming back and telling friends and family

I've been here 2 times and I really don't understand why none of the food is good. The first time they gave us the wrong order. This time I got a chorizo breakfast burrito and it was disgusting. The chorizo tasted like ground beef!!! I don't understand why it was leaking water or some sort of liquid. Breakfast burritos should be good and not soggy. I only ate 1/4th of the burrito because it was not good. Also, the burrito wasn't cheap, it was close to $15 because I included a $2 tip. I was being lazy and didn't feel like cooking so I thought I'd support a small business. Guys please rethink your food and the quality you guys have so much potential.

Amazing food, music, and customer service! A friend and I stopped by for brunch on a Sunday after a walk at the Whittier Trail. We sat at the bar and had our order taken right away. I had the chicken chilaquiles with a 50/50 agua, and my friend had the chicken and waffle with an orange juice. The chilaquiles were really good! They were a little spicy as I continued to eat them, but the spice was tolerable (I am not a fan of spicy foods). I personally did not like the agua because half of it was Jamaica. I'm not a fan of Jamaica but I wanted to give it a try. My friend enjoyed his chicken and waffle, and orange juice. I tried a piece of the chicken and it was good. We also shared a bread pudding for dessert. We originally wanted to try their churro swirl, but the staff informed us that it was no longer served. They suggested the bread pudding, which came with a side of vanilla ice cream. It was tasty! After we finished our food and paid, we stuck around to talk. I thought the staff was going to ask us to leave, but they didn't. They even offered us water. The staff was very kind! I will be sure to stop by again to try their other dishes and drinks!

The food was average so was the service. Friend got the chilaquiles and she said they were great. I got the chicken and waffles and the syrup lacked flavor as well as the "hot" sauce. Chicken was cooked great but on the slimmer parts it was hard and rough. Waffle was also very soft and fluffy. I like my waffle with more of a crunch. It's a waffle not pancake.

Different and flavorful! I felt like this was an innovative meal that combined flavors well. Elements of the brunch like my pulled beef sandwich were downright fabulous, while the homestyle potatoes were just okay. Proces were reasonable and I enjoyed the twist that was put on traditional brunch items.

Que delicia! We were lured in with mouth watering images and they delivered the authenticity as equally stunning as the taste. Salvador, Spain, and sabores unicos from across the palet of a man that clearly knows his tastebuds. Potatoes, blanched so soft I felt I was chewing clouds and didn't want to end my flight.. The service, however was the warmest part of the meal as the owner being our first time, with joy in his eyes spoke of food he was truly passionate and enthralled with. Thank you for making our visit such a tasteful experience!!! We are about to check out your brunch and am sure will be equally amazed!
