March 23, 2024 at 9pm. Kids wanted a flan. My husband said this place has good ones. He went to the bar and encountered the rudest server ever. She was the red hair bartender; Tammy. Her demeanor and hand gestures was unacceptable. I hope her management reads this and speaks with her about this situation. If she's having a bad day, tough. Don't express it with your paying customers. My husband was so upset with how he was greeted and denied a menu. He walked out. All he wanted was to order his kids dessert.

Really good food here. Place has been here a few years now and gained some popularity. Service can be a little slow although no fault at all to the servers, their management should staff a little better sometimes. Pricey for the location but overall great dinner and good atmosphere for a night out. Their cocktails are very good! Good La Mirada Mexican spot. Wish they had better deals though, I’d come more often.

The food was really good. I had the fish tacos and my girlfriend had the chicken and steak fajitas. Both were delicious. Service was really good. Salsa is hot so be prepared. It's more like chili. Atmosphere is nice and clean. Music is louder then I would like. I always wonder why some places play music so loud? Beer was cold and served in cold glasses. I would love to come back and try some of the other dishes. They do offer a happy hour menu. I saw menudo on the list.

Well, this place has good food. But the service could be better. Today was the first time here. I can say the food is on point the waiter wasn't on point like the food but overall it was OK. I might go back in a few months but hopefully the server will be better. ??‍♂️ hopefully.

It is a great place to have authentic, delicious Mexican food. Once you open the menu, you want to order everything. The aguachiles are my favorite amongst a lot more, and the specialty drinks are a must. Great atmosphere, staff, and friendly.Kid-friendliness: Kids welcome.

We have loved this place since their old Whittier location. The food is always great and so is the service. Blanca, the waitress we always request is very attentive. The best part of this place is the salsa. Most Mexican restaurants fail in having good salsa and this place has 2 delicious salsas. I highly recommend this place.

Had the pork chile verde and it was not good at all. For the expensive price I figured it would taste great, but not even close.

First and last time customer.I've had some bad Mexican in my time, but this is one of the worst. The rice was dry and tasted bland and flavorless, the refried beans looked and tasted as if they had just come out of the can.The Chile Colorado was basically skirt steak soaked in red sauce. This was obviously Not Chili Colorado.I ordered a Dos Equis which was served semi cold.I was really hoping to find anything appealing about this place, but it was impossible.

Asada and chicken in the molcajete were perfectly cut and cooked, but chorizo and cheese were completely melted and mixed at bottom. Food was served quickly, but requests for additional items took too long. Nice large open bar, but drinks need improvement.

Upd. Been regular customers of this restaurant for many years. Today, dirty forks, dirty dishes on the edges old food dried on. I asked to replace the forkes, they brought us clean ones, but mentioned that it was water stains. I can see where is water stains and where is dried on pieces of food. I will probably give this place another chance and either delete negative review or never come again.Btw chile relleno ($19) had a size of jalapeno. My favourite mexican restaurant in Whittier. Their seafood very good, drinks are delicious and very nice presented.

This is a restaurant we recently visited. The food is delicious, the service exceptional and the atmosphere very welcoming. Our waitress Mireya is the best we've encountered in a while! She is very attentive, professional and very nice. I recommend this restaurant to anyone that loves Mexican food.
