Alex Morales, his family, and the staff are very welcoming and sincerely care about their food and service. Alex was on ABC's Eye on LA years ago for the quality of his good!

After trying about 15 burritos in Whittier, their Carne Asada burrito is officially my favorite. Very solid size, well seasoned beans, rice, and meat...not much more you can ask for.

Food was great. Service could use some help. I was the only one in the place and felt alone as though I should have served myself.

Went for Sunday family breakfast we ordered:Chilaquiles, Menudo, and Enchiladas de Pollo.I am submitting a review for my order.Negative: Menudo was not good at all, I find it surprising that they sell out. The broth was greasy and smelled like the tripe was not properly cleaned. The broth was flavorless and just had the coloring of the chile but no flavor. The tripe had fatty residue attached to tripe. I’m not sure ? if this is the usual but I do not recommend the menudo. Good luck with your meals, we all ended up getting horrible heartburn. Spent $71 plus tip, not worth it.Positive: coffee was good! ? service was good! Cleanliness was neutral.

It saddens me to do this but I have to leave a negative review this place the food is amazing I love the food here they got the best chilakiles that I have had in a long time. And again I think this is one of those where they let their ego go to their heads they know that food is good therefore they can treat us the way they want I show up 45 minutes before closing plenty of time to make food still and I'm not even asking for a great big dish whatever is available the food here is that good and they close the door in my face they see me in my car walking towards the door and they lock it way before closing time that's not cool on any other day any of the normal day I would have given them in five star easy

I have been eyeing this restaurant for a while , and today finally decided to visit. It was such a great experience! Upon entering , you see the register directly in front and tables to your left. You place your order at the register, and find a seat . I ordered the "devil shrimp" or camarones a La diabla . Found a seat in the corner by window, and the lovely server brought me chips and salsa . Chips were hot, crispy, crunchy and the salsa was chunky with perfect amount of spice. I was also given the bottle coke with a chilled glass of ice. Perfection . I was seated only a short amount of time before my food came out. It hot, delicious, and beautiful presentation. The shrimp were big, spicy, clean and tasty. The corn tortillas were home made I believe. I loved it. Definitely a great hidden gem in whittier and can't wait to return. A+++ to this restaurant for service , delicious food, cleanliness and ambience. I will tell all my friends, family and definitely be back! Thank you!

Delicious food served with handmade corn tortillas. Well served portions, and friendly waiting staff. Chilaquiles sauce is yummy and so are the Chile rellenos.

Reliably great. The House salsa is different from the normal to go ones, but all three are good.

Mind blown by the 5 star reviews! This is a tiny hole in the wall, appears to be family-owned, no frills restaurant. Quick service, friendly waitress but the food itself leaves so so much to be desired. I ordered the milanesa and though it looked appetizing, it was left on the grill for too long and burnt along the bottom. When I notified the waitress, she told me she would notify the cook. When she returned with the check, she comped my drink for the burnt milanesa. The rice is very dry and tasteless. The beans were ok but the cheese on top gave a strange vibe since it never melted. Two handmade and large corn tortillas came with the plate for $18 but couldn't save burnt meat. This place was a one and done for me.
