Every single time I have ordered from this place for delivery they MISS something. and if you call to say something about it they ask for you to call the ordering platform as if they were the ones in charge of preparing and packaging the orders. The food is good but the lack of attention to orders is not good!

My fiancé and I used to like Maki Yaki. I like the udon noodles and when they when I've askasked them to limit the oil, they're able to help with that and make it to my preference, however, my fiancé says that the sushi is just not as fresh as it used to be and I agree because today's a Sushi looked questionable, they also gave him ginger that looked old and dry. For the price, I think you can find better sushi and I'm sorry to say that because the staff is great, the service is good, but when it comes to spending your money, I just have to be honest you can find better sushi for the price.

I really enjoy the one in Placentia and thought this place would be same vibe. It's more a to go casual place, food and prices were still good. I've been back since my first visit.

Hair in the food!! Happened to be around the area on a Tuesday afternoon. Ordered 1) dynamic rolls and 2) green dragon rolls to-go. Waited for about 10 minutes for the food to come out which is fine. However, I was definitely expecting more scallops on the dynamic rolls (like at any other sushi place) , but they came out to have a lot of imitate crabs on top and only about 4-5 scallops! After eating two pieces, I also discovered a short, thin, dark color hair on the third piece! Green dragon rolls were ok, but I had lost my appetite at that point and had to toss the rest away.

This was the absolute worse. Restaurants as a hole have rduced quality and portions. Soft shell crab was bits of fried crab parts terrible, tempura was soggy. I keep trying the quad location I am done too tired to even return food. I didnt eat any of it.
