I've driven to this spot (over 40 minutes) twice. Each time, it was closed during its stated business hours. The second time I sat in the parking lot for an hour. I watched so many people walk up to the door and become sorely disappointed.Nothing worse than a liar.

Small, local spot for mongolian style grilled food. The cahsier was a lovely, attentive and friendly older woman. $16 for beef. Meat come pre portioned and is 2 ounces below what you should expect for the price. 15 options of veggies. 6 sauces. The meat quality was mid meaning, not good but not poor. They add some noodles and 1 cup of rice. Noodles and rice are flavorless. I am certainly full, but this is true for any mongolian grill:if you know how to stack your bowl, you'll always defeat hunger. The cook had a friend come in, and they we're talking about how the food is served to go and shouldn't be eaten inside. This made a couple seated in front of me akward. Shortly after, the cook and cashier disappeared into the kitchen. A family of 4 came in, and they waited and waited, but no one acknowledged them or even said anything to them. Their little boy had to eagerly call out to the cook who was in the back with the waitress, and even then, they waited. I went to the restroom to wash my hands, came out, and they were still unnoticed. This place needs a boost of energy. I won't be back.

Need to update your hours, it’s 3pm and you’re not open yet.

Sitting is limited and it's cash only. They serve you your meat and you prep the rest yourself even the seasoning. There are no recommendations on how to prep it. It looked good on ig but was not impressed. Online it said on weekends they open at 12 but actually they open at 3.15.

I was like for an hour and 25 minutes. Standing there with a tray of meat. If I had not already paid, I would have left. The food tastes ok once it's cooked but nothing amazing. The overall feel of the place is run down and laid out really poorly. Overall, I will not be returning.

Great food. Prices did increase a little but the portions are massive. I could feed 2 with one plate. They open around 2:30 and close by 8 pm. Fresh veggies every time I’ve gone. The food also tastes good the next day if you have left overs. Also it’s cash only but there’s an atm In the market next door.

If you're seeking an extraordinary dining experience, look no further than this Mongolian restaurant. The ambiance here is a captivating blend of modern sophistication and Mongolian traditions. The elegant decor, complete with intricate wooden carvings and plush seating, creates a refined atmosphere that's perfect for special occasions. The service was exceptional. The staff's deep knowledge of Mongolian cuisine was evident as they guided us through the menu, making spot-on recommendations. Their attention to detail and friendly demeanor made us feel like cherished guests. Every request was met with a smile and promptness. Now, let's talk about the food - it was a revelation of flavors. The Mongolian hot pot was a standout, with its fragrant broth and premium ingredients. The grilled meats were tender and perfectly seasoned, and the vegetarian options were equally impressive. Each dish was a culinary masterpiece, a testament to the chef's skill and dedication. In summary, this Mongolian restaurant offers an unparalleled combination of ambiance, service, and food. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply indulging in a memorable meal, this place is a true gem.

I've tried many Magnolias restaurants since I've moved and I have yet to find a better place. Great customer service, great price and great portions.

So I've been a huge Mongolian BBQ fan for decades. I have taken my family to many different locations, one of my favorites was up in Duarte but unfortunately they're no longer there. My daughter was excited to have us come up to this restaurant because she had heard good things and had come here with some coworkers. Many of the Mongolian places that I have been to are all you can eat and you can go and serve yourself as many times as you want. But some places that I've been to in the past are a one serving location. This place gives you a bowl of the meat that you purchase and then you go serve your own vegetables and sauces before taking it up to the grill. The veggies, mushrooms and other items seemed a little old. And with some of the items, you had to scrape the bottom of the containers. It would be hard for the lady working the cashier to come refill them because the design of the place is badly done. While you're serving your veggies and sauces/oils, you're bumping your butt against the person waiting at the grill. Is super hard to get in there, this area needs to be redesigned! But the most frustrating part for me throughout the process was the long line largely due to the fact that the cook is only putting on one bowl at a time. I have never seen that at any other Mongolian BBQ location. I think part of the reason was that there was a large burned area on the grill because he is not walking around the diameter of the grill. I don't know if it burned because he's not using it all or if he is not using it because it is burned. But if your food touches it you're going to taste that burnt flavoring. It also makes the line go really really slow.I also paid the extra $5 to add shrimp. You only get four or five pieces of shrimp but they were pretty good size; unfortunately, the cook dropped one of my shrimp to the floor as he is rotating the food on the grill. :(They offer some spring rolls as a side menu, they are NOT! They are egg rolls, and they look like they are premade and fried there. They are not good at all. Super mushy and no flavor! There are only a couple of tables in the restaurant so I noticed a couple of people waiting for us to hurry up. We were fortunate and got a table right away. I guess everything is relative so I have to compare it to the other Mongolian BBQ places that I've gone to in the past, this place was not as well designed or clean looking. It wasn't gross but it just didn't look clean.I do have to give it three stars because the food is good. Probably not somewhere I would come back to because for the same price I think there are a lot of different options. If I ever came back and saw the same burnt spot on the grill I would walk out the door.
