Went to grab some dinner the other night and we were really happy impressed. We had not been in years but the food quality and service was still over the top. Our waitress Ashley was so funny, professional and had some awesome recommendations. I got the NY strip Peppercorn steak and my cousin got the full rack of baby back ribs. The steak was so flavorful, the crust on the steak was sooo good and the steak was cooked perfectly. My cousins ribs fell off the bone and the mashed potatoes were soo good. And I can't forget how good the bread and butter was. Can't wait to go back, I'm glad the good quality never changed here.

So glad the peanuts are gone! Excellent food at reasonable prices. Everyone is super sweet and the place is well staffed and clean. It's the better place to go especially on Sunday when everyone is at Norms. Highly recommend.

I am writing to express my disappointment with a recent outing my family and I had at your Whittier location. We had planned this for weeks to celebrate my father's 75th birthday. Of all the places out there he chose Original Roadhouse. There was a group of 8 of us and immediately things felt off. We were seated and had to wait quite some time for our waitress just to take our order . Then we realized how cold it was , it was freezing. We were later told that the heater broke but this is something that should have been stated prior to us being seated . Finally after about 30 minutes our waitress took our order . She apologized for the wait, she said they were short staffed because the manager chose to send people home early thinking it was gonna be a slow night. Normally I'm empathetic to these kind of circumstances but I also find it unfair that the customer has to carry the weight of that bad decision. Anyhow we had to chase down our waitress to get simple things like utensils and water , and to order drinks. We even had to get up and place our order with the hostess.Our waitress finally brought out drinks and our food, our mixed drink tasted disgusting and we had to send it back and our food was served with a wilty old salad. I wish I had taken photos . The food was lackluster for sure. Needless to say the whole experience was terrible and we found it even more annoying that the tip was automatically added to our bill because we had a large party. Normally I am all for it and will gladly pay but given the circumstances of the evening and the quality of food, LACK of service we felt cheated and I don't think we'll ever return. Super disappointed and hope you guys can hold your restaurant to a higher standard especially if you are gonna impose automatic tips.

We gave this place another try and it was as awful as last time, the food was cold and had no flavor the quality of the meat is lousy, a waste of money and time, we won't go back.

Service was aweful. We waited 2 hours for our FOOD. Litetally 2 hours. Mgmt sucked. After 2 hours food still came out wrong for my kids. Aweful experience w my kids. Parents don't come here w ur kids at all. Worse experience IN WHITTIER... GENERAL MANAGER IS A NEWBIE. GET IT TOGETHER WHITTIER.

My dining experience was an absolute nightmare. Two hours of waiting for my food turned into a lesson of patience, only to end with an empty stomach and a feeling of utter contempt for the establishment's incompetence. The staff's indifference and failure to communicate about the delay sealed the deal on this horrible display of customer service. Save yourself the frustration and steer clear of this place.pls

Food was adequate but uninspiring. I had the tri tip salad and the meat was meh and the salad was even meh-er. The lettuce had pink edges and several sections of core.The light fixture was too bright, right in my eye and the color of the bulb made everything look sickly.

First of all, the bread came out so hot I burned my finger. After it cooled off, it was good. Prime Rib had no flavor. Broccoli was rotten. They brought me more but it was overcooked. More rotten pieces in it too. The burger seemed as though something else was mixed in it. Didn't seem like meat. The prime rib was charged more on the bill than what was on the menu. Waiter was very kind. Not a fan of this place. Won't be returning.

I am saddened to see how low the ratings are at this QUALITY AWESOME RESTAURANT! (But I do understand some of it and this is what I will say) I use to LOVE this restaurant and things slowly went sound in a number of ways. The final straw for me personally was the difference in the quality of the bread. I literally called the manager, I think her name was Bianca? Ahh I suck with names but she worked Friday 1/26 dinner shift. I called because I needed a special dinner with my mother in law and she's on Keto. (I am not) I thought a steak house was a great idea but wanted something more fun but still high quality. Guys... this restaurant is EXACTLY that! It was AWESOME and the manager made me feel like a freaken superstar she was so sweet: we had this guy server, I think his name is Steve or Steven? Older gentleman and Omgosh it was like dinner and a SHOW WITH A COMEDIAN! He was funny and not overbearing at all but helped us figure out how she was gonna eat Keri friendly and I was gonna not lol. No judgement, no mean energy. He was just lovley and took ALOT from us asking a lot of questions and making modifications for our meals. In the end, I just think you all should give 'em another try. They OBVIOUSLY have some awesome managers there and things look amazing (no more crumbs on the floor! Which is funny cuz I kinda missed that but it's so much nicer not stepping on it! my OG roadhouse fans will remember how we ate peanuts and threw the crumbs on the floor!) Anyway, thanks roadhouse! Will definitely come back soon! :D

Food was good but unfortunately, service was the opposite. We waited long for everything we asked from our server. She dropped our fries on the floor, which was no problem at all (mistakes happen) but they were not picked up from the floor for around 30 minutes. It was a hazard for not only the guests, but the servers as well. We waited for someone to come around and sweep it up but that time never came so we took it into our own hands to clean them up ourselves. I come here often and usually have pleasant experiences, but this time was not it.
