I love Steve’s BBQ, the food is extremely great. The service is excellent, they try to accommodate you to your liking. The owners are the best. I go there twice a week and enjoy the great food they have.I have read the reviews and find those who are complaining about the food and service are just that. This place is very clean, welcoming, great food, quick service. You couldn’t ask for a better BBQ to eat at.

We had a reservation for 5:00pm the restaurant had a nice atmosphere. We had a server(will remain nameless) took our order for drinks, it took a while for our drinks to arrive, patrons that arrived after us received their drinks before us, by the way, our server split drinks on my partner. We waited 50 minutes for our food, the order was not correct for half of our dinner party. At the end of our meal the server compensated 15.00 off our bill which was a half slab of ribs, It was our first time eating there, we went and it was an experience!! Probably won’t be returning

Tucked into a nice area of restaurants and bar we had to try Steve’s BBQ because of a video we saw on TikTok. My friend and I split the BBQ Mac and Cheese. We got it with brisket, it was actually super high quality and would definitely get it again. I also ordered coleslaw to go cause the pictures looked nice and creamy. But the star of the show was the BBQ Mac and Cheese.

I went here two to three years ago remember it being amazing. Got it again having those same high standards. The prices are normal for bbq place but proportions are very lousy. I got the brisket sandwich which in the description it had bbq sauce. It had little to no bbq sauce at all. Even then the meat was nothing special with a lot more fat than I expected. Mac n cheese was good though. A better alternative place would be Smoke n Fire for bbq

Wedding Catering: Five Stars all around for Steve’s BBQ!!Steve’s has always been our go-to date spot so when it came down to planning our wedding, they were our first choice for dinner. From start to finish the experience was hands down AMAZING!! Josh is so easy to work with and literally offered everything under the sun. He is very organized and takes detailed notes. My husband and I were also very surprised to learn that they were able to offer more than just BBQ items for the menu. Everything at our tasting was delicious!! It was hard to pin down our choices but once we did we knew we had something for everyone.Our menu was as follows…Appetizers: Bruschetta, Hot Links & the most delicious Crab Cakes you’ve ever had!!Dinner: Baby Back Ribs, Chicken, Mac & Cheese (a total no brainer since it’s our favorite), Collard Greens & dinner rolls. They also provided a BBQ style veggie option for a friend of ours. She said portobello mushroom never tasted so good!Steve’s BBQ was a full service operation, they provided the disposable plates and rolled flatware. Offered tray pass service for cocktail hour and even bussed after dinner. My wedding planner had nothing but positive feedback to provide as well.Overall, my husband and I are so happy we were able to have Josh, Eric and the Steve’s BBQ team as part of our special day. This restaurant already held a special place in our hearts but now it’s forever part of our love story. THANK YOU STEVE’S BBQ!! WE LOVE YOU!!

I've been here several times since I first came almost 5 years ago. The food is good...it's solid BBQ and the cocktails are nice as well. The servers are also good. Sabrina is great. However, this place has gone up so much in price since 2019 that I just can't justify coming here any more. Just over the past 6 months it seems like certain things have gone up at least 20%. I'm aware that inflation has been an issue and staff are getting paid more but $26 for a guacamole burger is just not acceptable. $62 for a ribeye steak? I don't know why but abnormally high prices seem to be a bit of a trend in uptown Whittier/ La Habra. I haven't seen the prices get jacked up so much, so fast in a lot of other areas...and, in my limited experience, I have paid the same or less for better food and better ambiance in LA, Newport Beach, and San Diego. Speaking of ambiance, the lighting here is piercing. Spotlights now blare from the ceiling into your eyes and you can't tell that the battery powered candle on the table is even on. It's too bad because this used to be one of my family's favorite local places.
The service was really great and the food was pretty good. I would be going back again soon

This place was so good and hit the spot for the craving for BBQ. The table service was excellent and I have to give our server Eric a shout-out, for being very informative, helpful, and checking on us throughout our dining experience. We got the BBQ Sampler Platter, which could be shared easily with 4 to 5 people. You could choose from 3 types of meat and 3 sides. We chose the brisket, chicken, and baby back ribs. The brisket was juicy, tender, and just melted in your mouth. The chicken was moist and smokey.... it was delicious! I didn't try the ribs but everyone loved them. Our platter came with hot links and they were spicy and with a good snap to them, a must-have as well. Loaded mashed potatoes were also great with bits of smoked bacon and cheese. The mac and cheese were cheesy and creamy... can't go wrong with this choice. BBQ beans were smokey, not too sweet, and cooked to perfection. For my drink, I ordered a Mezcal Mule.... this just placed the cherry on top of our dinner. I had to order a second one. Overall a great BBQ spot to enjoy with friends and family.

Not sure if I was more impressed by the food or the service. This was my favorite BBQ ever. Everything was absolutely delicious, including the tri tip. I’m not a big mac n cheese guy but this one had me going for seconds. They seem to use a more mild flavored cheese that makes it very delicious (usually too rich for me). The collard greens alone are worth the trip. The honey siracha pork belly is an absolute must. The ambience is very classy but relaxing. Well done. Lastly, you get fine dining level service…. at a BBQ place!!! Definitely coming back and definitely worth the long drive.
