Tacos Ortiz. Best tacos in Whittier. Sometimes they’re not here, they move around. Highly recommend the tacos al pastor.

Came highly recommend and it did not disappoint. Organic tacos with handmade wraps. Their red sauce is excellent with smoky and spicy kick.

This place has gone down hill. Last time I came here I was charged 45$ for 10 tacos and one horchata. Came again after being away on business & decided to give them another try & leave it in the past so this time I asked them this time how much the tacos were & ordered a few. ($2 each)When I got home my tacos de carne asada had RICE in them. Dont know where the heck the rice came from since it was only tacos we ordered. The al pastor tacos no longer have pineapple in them which made them stand out from before since the acid from the pineapple made the al pastor tender. The tortillas are still hand made, BUT no longer fresh & warm but like 30 minutes ahead of time. Which became cold & hard when it arrived to us. The meat is no longer juicy but tough & dry. Which isn't a good combination with a hard tortilla (basically a tostada)Really disappointed the quality of this place went down

This place is so good! Staff is friendly. You get so many free condiments, salsa and guac. Come on you serve YOUR OWN GUAC i had Al Pastor tacos and they were delicious. Hand made tortillas, they dont skimp you out on meat serving like other places. Highly recommend. Fair prices as well!

Hello Fellow Yelpers, I gave this place 3 stars based on two visits:My first visit was at the beginning of their hours. The food and condiments looked fresh and very appealing. I ordered 4 al pastor tacos that, I have to say were amazing! The tortillas are handmade on the spot! I'd rate that experience and food 5 stars! Now as for my second visit, it was not so amazing.I arrived at around 9 pm and ordered 2 al pastor 1 suadero and 1 tripas tacos. And my daughter ordered 2 asada and 2 lengua. I noticed that tortillas were being made so fast causing them to stack up and cool down to the point where they were chewy and tough to bite into. They were not fresh and soft as the first time. The al pastor was served from the meat that was building up at the bottom of the roaster and then re-heated on the bigger grill with the tortilla on top of the meat. No pineapple was served on my tacos and as for the lengua and tripas tacos, they were just ok. It also did not help that the salsa and condiment bar looked to be in bad shape! No one refilling and or cleaning it. So for this visit I will have to rate it 2 stars. I believe in consistency and this place does not have it. So although my first experience was 5 stars my second experience of 2 stars brings it down to 3.5 stars over all. Go early if you want the best and freshest experience! Thanks for reading my review.9

I've been coming here for a little over 3 months now. This is the hands down, best taco truck in Whittier. Fresh made tortillas, & Al Pastor right off the trompo. Even with the large number of people normally there, the line moves fairly quickly. The prices are on the slightly higher end, but if you want dry dollar tacos go get that garbage elsewhere. They have a fully stocked salsa bar, and they don't get stingy with anything! They have a little seating area, and parking is best behind the truck, because the owner of the liquor store is a real um, Johnson.

Don't come here! At first it was good couple months ago. tacos were one dollar & change. they started making yellow chili's, small potatoes & guacamole which i never get. I asked y they raised to $2? They said because of all the extras. Just because it's whittier doesn't mean you can raise it $1 more! You can still get tacos in east la much better still for a dollar & change. You only get one tortilla the meat isn't good like before, made with little to no effort.

Great food. Homemade corn tortillas. Pastor made the traditional way. Had several tacos with pastor, asada and tripas. Loved them all also ordered a burrito with asada, rice and beans. They bring it out to you opened and you fill it with what condiments you want. They had guacamole, various salsas, sliced cucumbers, radish, onion, chilies. You give it back to them and they fold it up for you. They also sell horchata. There is a tiny place inside with about 4 tables to eat. The only downside is the parking or lack of. I would still go back!

I do not like taco trucks, food trucks, etc. But these tacos are my absolute favorite. The flavor of the meat and salsa is so good. The handmade tortillas are delicious. My favorite meat is the al pastor it's wonderful! Highly recommend this taco truck.

I tried 4 different meats. Each was overly greasy and overly salty. The al pastor is not seasoned approriately. My stomach is still upset. I was so hoping this place would be decent because it is near my house. I will never return.
