Love this low key, high end bar. Best of both worlds. Dark and warm atmosphere. Phenomenal happy hour and cocktails. We came for after dinner cocktails and ordered an espresso martini and a "Coffee and Cigarettes" and they were perfect! FYI It's not closed. Try the door!

I've been here several times and when I sit at the bar and ask for the bartender's choice with my choice of spirit, she always creates a drink I appreciate and wakes my imagination. The last time I was there, their mock tail selection was nice. The food was great, and the service was wonderful. I'll come back...except...the music's volume. I know, I know. Am I 80? No, but can't a woman in her 30s safely express that she wants to have a conversation where she doesn't need to lean in, adjust her hearing, and vaguely lip read to have a meaningful exchange with her friend? lol. That night, a lovely waitress turned the music down SLIGHTLY. Kudos to her. I felt seen.

At a glance, it's nothing but a dive bar,but once you stop and take a look, you realize it has more of a speakeasy vibe and you are transported to a different vibe. From the food to the drinks. Easily a 10/10. Will definitely be coming back Thank you Melissa for your amazing service

Drinks are the highlight here. Tried a few from the menu that I haven't seen elsewhere and they were all on point. They also have the staples (like old fashions, etc,,) and their whiskey selection is pretty decent. Atmosphere is nice for like a relaxed date night, and the specialty shots were great too!

Only two places in Uptown Whittier can you find amazing crafted cocktails, the Vandalist and the Guildhall.The Vandalist is a much cooler sophisticated place. The vibe with the soft red dim lights, pleasant music makes it ideal for date night.Highly recommend the olive tapenade crostini paired with their flat iron toast and the Sazerac…..Yummy!!!

Came in with my GF to check out the vibe. It was super cozy, moody and inviting. Jen (server) was attentive and answered all our questions. Since we just wrapped up dinner at a different establishment we decided on the New York Cheesecake. I'm not a huge cheesecake fan but this one was very balanced and was presented beautifully. If you're in the area give this place a try. It offers great service, great dessert and a killer ambiance. I'll be back soon!
