We stopped by on a weekday around 1pm and it was a bit of a let down. I get that we were there after the morning rush but online it said they closed at 5 so I would think at 1pm there would still be some donuts. There weren't very many options and the donuts themselves tasted old. I'm always on the hunt for a good maple bar and my kids love anything with sprinkles but all 3 donuts might have been left over from the day before. While it's a shame that maybe we just hit them on a bad day or at a bad time I wouldn't chance going back again.

First visit to Golden Star Donuts. The lady behind the counter was very friendly and the old fashioned donuts we had were some of the best I’ve ever eaten. We came late Sunday morning and the selection was a bit limited due to many thing being sold out which makes me think this place is quite popular. I would return again.

Stopped by late in the afternoon so there was a very limited selection. Got the last two maple bars and a fritter. Both tasted fresh late in the day and the fritter had that nice crisp outside with a soft center. These would taste so good warm so I can't wait to go back in the morning to get a fresh one!

New owners, new name and great donuts. Very friendly owners. I tried the maple bar and a warm glazed twist and both were very good. They also offer fresh croissants, coffee drinks and sandwiches. I recommend you give them a try.

The croissants are so good, I got the ham,cheese,jalapeño. They are so soft even after hours of being in a bag. The donuts are really good and soft.
