I’ve been coming here for over 30 years (I’m in my late thirties), and this place has consistently been providing quality Mexican food made from scratch. You can taste the authenticity. The drinks are always on point. I came here today, and was recognized after returning from out of state from over 8 years ago! This is Mexican food you can get from your abuela. Not a food truck. This is home style nostalgia. 20/10!!!

The person who seated us and served us was extremely helpful and had great customer service. To our surprise, he knew every single item of the 70+ menu item by number by heart. He was very attentive to us and patient with us even though we took a while to order. The food was incredible. So authentic. The atmosphere had a very intimate mood. This is a low key restaurant, and I pray they remain prosperous and blessed with customers. This restaurant was impeccable. Any time I'm in Whittier I will come back, and recommend to others for sure.

I luv their Mole sauce.I used to live in Whittier, ca, and moved to Colorado. I recently visited California., and went to veracruz and ate mole chicken enchiladas and brought home mole sauce. ?

Me and my girlfriend came to check this place out the menu is hand written and the place is very dark and not very clean . We ordered a diet coke and a michelada (modelo) beer but we ran into a family emergency and asked for the check amd we were charged 15$ the gentleman was mumbling we could hear him and we asked why it was so much . He stated the diet coke was 4$ and like 5$ for using debit . Save yourself the trip and money don't dine here people.
