This place is one of my absolute favorites in Whittier! The burgers are amazing, and I love their selection of Belgian beers. I am no oyster expert, but I tried them once and they were great! My partner and I come here often and have never been disappointed. The servers are amazing and always friendly. Highly recommend!

I like the tacos but I also loved the calamari. I had a pitcher of an IPA that was delicious and our server was very nice. The service is quick and the ambiance was cool. Can't wait to try other food.

Food is excellent. My favorites are the oysters and the wagyu burger. Great selection of beer and wines too. Staff is always friendly. Great ambiance. One of my fav spots in Whittier.

Celebrated my birthday here last month but just got around to writing this review. My birthday fell on a work day so we wanted to stay local for dinner, and Crooked Gaff Kitchen has been on my list of places to try here in Whittier. It did not disappoint! Firstly, parking might be an issue as the parking lot was really small, but since it was a weeknight, we were able to park easily. Service was very friendly and helpful. We tried a lot of dishes as it was our first time. Started with oysters, and we also ordered the Crispy Calamari and Crab Cake. All three were tasty. The Korean Pork Belly taco was good too. I have heard good things about their version of Spaghetti Bolognese, and it was really delicious! I will definitely order this again when we come back. It was not really traditional but we really liked it. We also ordered the Truffle Fries, which we ordered extra crispy. For dessert, we tried "Broken Dreams", which was fun to look at, and which we enjoyed. Can't wait to come back and try other dishes!

Stopped in for a quick bite before the Dodgers got beat by the Diamondbacks again (sorry). ? The menu and proximity to my hotel is what brought me in. The food, service, and atmosphere is what will bring me back. Cozy little place packed with huge flavors. I had the 1/2 dozen oysters from the happy hour menu and the ahi tuna tostada. Impressive! The cocktail sauce for the oysters had the perfect amount of horseradish in it. The tuna tostada was a wonderful infusion of citrus and heat!I can’t wait to go back and try some of the other things in the menu. There were tables for seating and of course the bar with a few tvs showing the games.

Tried this place out on a Saturday night with my fiancé and definitely happy we decided to come here. We always love trying new restaurant but when it comes to uptown Whittier, we have our designated restaurants we always hit up. We've drove by this place multiple times and finally decided to give it a try. From the atmosphere, vibes and service....everything was amazing! They have an amazing beer tap/wine selection. The service was incredible and to top it off......the food was amazing. We ordered oysters (which were to die for) lobster esquite, calamari and shared the Wagyu steak entree. To finish it off we also tried their tres leches bread pudding and it did not disappoint. If you're debating on trying this place out, do not debate any further.

Okay, we all need to venture out to Uptown Whittier more often. Decided to try this restaurant after we saw “My Whittier’s” social media post. We were hungry and all over the menu. I ordered Korean Pork Belly tacos, Esquite, and clam chowder. Husband ordered an Oyster shooter, shrimp cocktail, and shrimp tacos. We shared everything. I can’t even describe this elevated food. Everything was on flavor point! The chowder was a Smokey chowder and delicious! The shrimp cocktail and tacos were beefy shrimps! The Esquite was on point! My husband absolutely enjoyed his oyster shooter! This menu is robust! Seafood, burgers, oysters, fish and chips, the menu goes on! Come out and try it! Our server Mariana is a gem!! Sorry no photos.
