Went there for the first time for lunch the other day. It was good food but not life changing. Their menu does look interesting they have some health options. We will be back to try more items in the menu. The service was a little slow for the amount of people there. But we agreed to give it a second chance.

There is no way the reviews are real. Disgusting food. Watery noodles with no taste. Chicken from a week ago reheated. Worse chinese good ever. Worse food in the Valkey.

So happy Gourmet Palace China Bistro is here! Really quality ingredients, lovely service and brand new, clean interior. We have had a definite shortage of Chinese food in Calabasas/Woodland Hills. I have been DRIVING for my wonton soup and hubbie's chicken kung pau. Happy tummies!"

Szechuan Shrimp had some blandest sauce I've ever had, raw vegetables and the shrimp had a strong muddy flavor. First bite almost made me gagI politely and humbly asked to switch it for orange chicken thinking it would redeem the meal, but instead they brought us the bill so they didn't even give me a chance to reconsider the 1 star rating.Fried noodle dish, they were stuck together into one big hardened piece. It was like an old funnel cake drenched in oyster sauce.I'm puzzled by how this restaurant gets any good ratings. This is the only restaurant in my life where I literally couldn't eat the food.

Excited to find an authentic Chinese restaurant in WH after all these years! We loved the su mai and the steamed dumplings. Also enjoyed the shrimp in lobster sauce and szechuan pork. The won ton soup was terrific. they use high quality proteins and ingredients and fabulous sauces. We can't wait to go back and try more dishes.

Best Chinese food we've eaten in a while. The salt&pepper shrimp and the filet mignon were yummy. Definitely will come to this place again. Also we got free Thai iced tea when checked in on Yelp.

Last weekend I ordered take out delivery wonton soup and chicken egg rolls. This order was extremely disappointing as the rolls were not just burned but also were spring rolls no chicken. The soup tasted old. Past couple times ordered same and was satisfied with quality. I now understand other people negative reviews. I often don't like to share bad reviews, but this occasion was such a disappointment that the food was left uneaten. I especially hate to waste food and money.
