I CRAVE THIS PLACE!!! Have you ever ordered fries and they were mid? The fries at Hook burger are always piping hot, perfectly seasoned, still thin cut, but meaty!But, what I love the most is their turkey burger. I love tasting the charbroiled goodies and even on the beef patties as well (for my kids). Hook burger was founded by the same gentleman who started the Habit Burger. But, SO much better! They have the best and friendliest employees and I promise you they are always smiling! Love, love, love Hook Burger! If you like burgers, I’d highly recommend trying Hook burger. You will get Hook’d! ?

The burgers are very good. The wait staff are friendly and polite.This place very popular with the local police so don't be surprised if there an officer in line with you. I offered the officer to take my place in line so he and his partner didn't have to wait. Often times their lunchtime is interrupted with an emergency so I wanted them to enjoy the fine Hook burger before having to respond to a call.This place is on Ventura Blvd. and the noise from the traffic can be a tad distracting if one is eating on the open patio. It's shaded so that's nice, especially in the summer. They have indoor seating but it cannot accommodate more than 20 or so.Hook Burger is a gem.

Great food and excellent customer service. Someone is always walking around and clearing plates. The burgers are 4oz, so you might want to double up if you want more protein. Would definitely go back!

Where do I begin .... Burgers are juicy well cooked highly recommended Oreo cookie shake omg I think imma go tonight just thinking of this place makes me hungry absolutely love hook burger it got me hooked for life !

We don't go out for burgers often, so when we do we want it to count. Hook Burger did not disappoint. It's a good looking place with an extremely well-trained staff who take your order at the counter and deliver the food to your table when it's ready. We had the Hickory Burger and the Hook Burger, and both were excellent. Good quality ingredients, super soft buns and a nice char on the patties. The onion rings were pretty special, too. In a crowded market, these guys are killing it. Glad to have them in the neighborhood.

I love this place. They have the best burgers and salads at a reasonable price. The location has a big outdoor patio with plenty of seating. The staff are caring and friendly. I enjoy the veggie burger which they serve using their bean patty. It's delicious! The trio which includes regular fries, onion rings and sweet potato fries is also a must with your burger order. Conveniently located across from the village perfect for lunch or dinner.

Hands down one of the best burgers in the valley! Always fresh, high quality meat and veggies, great atmosphere and family friendly. We get take out here 2-3 a month and it's a family favorite. I love the CA burger and hubby gets the mushroom burger, also love the grilled chicken sandwich and veggie burger. Everything is always super hot n fresh so watch out for mouth burns. Great service and great food = 5 star

What do you get when a thick slice of Jack(ed) cheese HOOK(s) up with the Lean Beef Patty with 2 perfectly shaped buns? And before you say.... "Don't threaten me with a good time"... The answer is a Delicious Cheeseburger!! Meanwhile, 9 months later... Congrats to Jack & Patty... They now have 4 mini sliders. -------------------------------------------- The other day, I was talking Burgers with one of my coworkers and my brain started thinking... Why just TALK about Burgers when I can go out and GET a burger. So I decided if I was going to do it, I not only needed a burger joint that was going to fulfill my craving, but I also wanted a new place that I hadn't tried to leave a Yelp review of my experience. So on my lunch, I made my way to Hook Burger and I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the lunch crowd inside. For some reason on this day, I decided to go with something different than my norm. I went with their Mushroom Burger which still comes with a beef patty, but has lots of delicious sautéed mushrooms and other goodies as a topper. Alongside their perfectly seasoned fries and an Arnold Palmer to quench my thirst, I was one happy camper to give this establishment my stamp of approval. The only critique I had on the burger itself that I thought was a bit off and could use a touch of love in the kitchen was the actual bun on the burger. While the patty, cheese and burger toppings were clearly hot off the grill, the bun itself was room temp. and to me was a bit off putting in its variance in temperature. I would have preferred the bun to be lightly toasted or at least heated to match the temperature of the inside ingredients. All in all, this is a solid burger joint that is worthy of its sister burger joint, The Habit which originated in Goleta (Santa Barbara Co.), California. And based off this positive experience: I can assure you this wasn't just a one night (burger) stand for me; I think we can definitely keep Hook(ing) up and keep this good thing goin'. My only hope is that I don't (scratch that), that I DO get HOOKED!!
