Fresh cream, fresh strawberries, soft delicate white cake -- this birthday cake was sublime! They call it strawberry shortcake, but I don't know why as it is not short of anything. See my photos :) Our family have bought from Porto's for fresh birthday cakes -- and I'm not knocking Porto's as they are pretty great. But La Creme was easily as good or better, and price was $1 different than Porto's. No fussing with driving, parking, lining up. This is a charming store/small business. A really lovely lady assisted us with all the warmth of a family member we just hadn't met yet. The bakery is in the back, right corner of the strip mall everyone blocks while they are lined up to enter In' n' Out's drive through. We'll be back, La Creme! The cake was a big hit. Thank you

I have been ordering cakes from La Crème for several years now and have recommended them to family and friends as well but unfortunately I will no longer be ordering from them. Their customer service was awfully disappointing on my recent visit. The owner was EXTREMELY RUDE for no apparent reason. I'm a very patient and kind person and like to treat people with kindness and the way I was treated and spoken to was very upsetting. I doubt anyone would like to give business to someone who treats customers so poorly.

This is such a vibe. The cakery is adorable. They have a display case loaded with fresh treats. Something for everyone. Sugar free chocolate fruit whatever you like. Service was amazing, the cashier even checked with the baker to get my pops a lemon bar. The cookies with fruit tasted like homemade jellies. Delicious!!!

I love this place so much. There is a wide variety of cakes, some of which I’ve never seen elsewhere. I love going to pick a new flavor whenever I have a sweet tooth, as they have individual servings as well as full cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and other sweets. I’ve ordered a variety of cupcakes and cakes for my birthday parties and everybody loved them.

I ordered both my sweet 16th cake as well as my engagement cake from them and both times, the custom cakes came out beautifully and were so delicious. The service is amazing and the quality of the cake never fails. Most custom cakes can look pretty but the taste isn't the best. Well, not for them, their cakes are top tier and the design of each cake they made for us matched exactly the inspiration I gave them. They are my go-to bakery for any special occasions and I will continue to recommend them to anyone I know.
Amazing first experience at La Crème. Walked in, asked for a recommendation. The vanilla flan was amazing. Only thing better was the friendly atmosphere.

I wrote this review awhile back and still stand by it! HOMOPHOBIA (which is just another form of racism) SHOULD NOT BE SUPPORTED NOR TOLERATED!!So I will start by saying that I actually enjoyed the baked goods I tried at La Creme Bakery's table at The Food and Wine Festival recently. The eclairs were awesome! What I did NOT enjoy (hence the 1 star review) was the HOMOPHOBIC TREATMENT which my fiancé and I received! There were 2 ladies working behind the table. One of whom was an African-American woman who, while sitting in a chair in front of us, hardly acknowledged us, never really looked at us, and forced a one sided smile out of her mouth when I was speaking to them. The main person who helped us was so pleasant at the beginning of the conversation, but her energy quickly shifted when she realized the wedding cake we were inquiring about was for us....a gay couple! My fiancé expressed to her that he really loves Sweet Lady Jane's triple berry cake and asked if La Creme had anything comparable. The reply she gave us actually surprised me...her exact words were "Well maybe you should get your wedding cake from Sweet Lady Jane…She'd probably be cheaper than us anyway." and continued to keep working making it very obvious that she didn't want to talk to us.According to other yelp reviews I've read, it seems that we are not the only ones who've experienced this! Rebecca B.'s review is also about the service she received.It's really sad, because as I stated above....l really liked the baked goods I sampled. I just won't spend money (the same money everyone else makes) at a place where we are treated rudely. Shame on those 2 ladies for their ignorant attitudes! And my heart goes out to them for being so small minded. They are entitled to their beliefs... just as men were entitled to believe women shouldn't vote before August 18, 1920, when the 19th amendment passed allowing women the right to vote. Remember....behind every great man is a great woman! And behind every great woman is a fabulous gay!

Wow. Incompetent. Rude.The cancelled a birthday cake the day before the birthday. An order placed over a week before. Because "lack of ingredients." For a vanilla birthday cake. Guess they're closing down altogether, right? If they don't have flour and vanilla? Great stuff for a bakery. Or they're just incompetent and should not be trusted to provide the most basic of service. They even called to confirm last week. Guess that was a fool's errand.So thanks for screwing up a birthday! Do not buy from this business!
