Best ribs EVER! And I love that they have beef ribs as we don’t eat pork. Love the casual and personal environment.

Old fashioned fun. Rustic old woodland hills. Grew up here in 1964. Sometimes the music is kinda loud on Friday Saturday. They sell the Bbq sauce separately and it the best.

The only reason that anybody would think this is southern barbecue is because they’re not from the south. The cook on the meat is pretty decent, however, the sauce is absolute garbage. Very excited to hear about this place, but it was a disappointment.
As a tourist: you will find better barbecue in a truck on the street. It’s fine. Super friendly and attentive staff. Everything was quick and hot. It just wasn’t… great. It was fine.

Beautiful shop, passed it for years. Son wanted barbecue so we placed an order for various things. I got the Pulled Pork sandwich. $17 sandwich, which is high but not an uncommon price for a sandwich from a decent valley BBQ shop.Unfortunately the quality of the sandwich and portion size doesn't warrant the price. The Pulled pork was dry, almost flavorless. The BBQ sauce they use is good and generous amounts of it added to the sandwich make up for what is otherwise bland tasting pulled pork (I've had more flavor from a 3 dollar can of store bought premade pulled pork). The fries were both overcooked and and underdone in the same batch, which takes work to unevenly cooked steak fries. The meager portion of Cole slaw was not much to write home about and was more in mild/bland flavor and generally lacked punch. Definitely not something if you prefer a bit tangier taste. It was fresh and the recipe, for what it is is well made but not my thing. All things considered at $17 for a BBQ Pulled Pork sandwich I expect more either in flavor or portion size and other local BBQ shops in the same price range do better. I'm happy I tried it but didn't find much to warrant a return trip.Service is A+, friendly staff, wonderful establishment.

Not sure how this place is rated over three stars. I was there on a Wednesday and couldn't get served and we were the only two people seated. Had 5 staff walk past us at various points. Waited over twenty five minutes for service an left. Food may be to die for but I'll never know.

Everything was so good. My kids loved it, and it was a great memory we have of when we escaped the wild fire smog of LA.Kid-friendliness: The waitress was so nice to my kids, and they had a great time. They want to go back. We will soon.
