The pizza here is the best I’ve had in the valley.

The crust is airy, light, and crispy almost to the point of being too dry. The cheese and sauce are just average. This is a pizza that you will enjoy eating but it will not stop you from looking for better alternatives.

FANTASTIC pizza place. Pizza is as NY as you can get without actually being in NY. Service is EVEN BETTER! My pizza ended up overcooked. Instead of just fobbing it off onto me, the owner brought it out, showed it to me and asked if I want it or if I'd like another. He made me another and still offered me the other pie to take home. Truly unique experience for a pizza shop as busy as this one. These guys obviously care about making delicious pizza...and that's a rare thing nowadays. So go experience it for yourself.

Tomato Pie Pizza Joint is part of our small circle of “go to” pizza joints. Although I live in Santa Clarita, it is definitely worth the drive. We spent the whole time visiting with the Mgr/Owner Zack and we had a blast. The pizza was outstanding (as always) and we even tried the Sicilian style, too. If you’re in the area, or even if you’re not, get out there and give it a try. You won’t be disappointed.

Exceptional NYC style pie in the SFV. One of the best around, definitely recommend.

This is my favorite pizza joint in L.A. The staff is helpful and usually hit the nail on the head with selecting your slice, after giving them your favorite flavor profiles. Broccolini was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The grandma pizza is by far my favorite pizza there. Environment is really chill here. Very casual. Nice neighborhood spot for families or quick take out. I've been coming here for about 16 years now, and it's still the only place that comes close to a pizza joint in NYC.

Been coming here for a few years now. Great service and they mean what they say.If you're in the area, support them! Menu is great. Attached are their by the slices that are available and in previous experiences, they will toast them with additional toppings if requested. Love this place!

This is the best NY style pizza in the area. Hands down. Nothing else comes close in this neighborhood.

I visited this outpost in the suburban hills going north on Topanga from PCH and it has a small patio out front and only two small low stools inside. I used one of the stools to sit on to eat my 2 slices and a free (lunch only) can of soda. The Sicilian and Tomato Pie are both thicker slices and were very good. Crusts were crunchy and light. Minimum 48 hrs fermentation I was told and they use brick lined Marsal ovens. Some might prefer a breadier crust and less crunchy but both types are fine with me. The Sauce and Cheese were very good. The regular cheese slice was available but didn't look as good as the ones I ordered. Some of best slices of pizza in LA I've ever had.

I started eating at Tomato Pie since their first location in Silver Lake 15yrs. ago. They are my favorite pizza joint in all of LA. Highly recommend the miss green gluten free! I also love The chicken wings are thick, juicy and tender! The ingredients they use are fresh! If you don't like to wait then order online.

Slice of Heaven in LA!This place never disappoints! The NY pizza is a crispy, thin masterpiece, and the Sicilian offers a delightful crunch with flavorful dough and sauce. The owner/manager I chatted with tonight was super cool. I just realized today this was the place I used to go to on Melrose so I guess I've been a loyal customer since their Melrose days . If you're on the fence, give it a try - hands down, one of the best NY slices in LA!"

I've been wanting to try Tomato Pie & I'm so glad I finally did. The menu is interesting & different. And the pizza is so very good! I got a slice of pepperoni & a slice of mushroom, can't wait to go back! It's take out only, which is a bummer but I'll go anyway!

I wish we could have taken a picture of our pizza and garlic knots but it wouldn't have done it any justice. The food itself was SO GOOD. Listen- I don't like pizza *gasp* because it's just not worth the calories and I find myself wanting something...more- later on. And..my husband is from NY. Need I say more!!? This place got 5 stars from me, my husband, AND my picky kiddo! The crust- forget about it! Amazing. The service was great, they were really helpful and welcoming(it's pay at the counter) and we enjoyed dining at on the patio the last time we were there. Despite it being fast-casual, the staff still made a point to pop in on us to see how we were doing and we appreciated that! Note to families- get the biggest pie possible and maybe order 2(yes, they're huge), but they go fast because one slice just won't be enough once you take a taste! 5 starts, def recommend.

Ok...... a five star review for pizza is very difficult for me to give. But here we go. This is based on food, service and the actual establishment. Living half the time in NY I get my share of great pizza and total shit as well. Pizza is an experience. A proper pizza is made with absolute love. I must say...... The Tomato Pie Pizza Joint has used that love and made a great pie!!!! Granted this is not the super thin crust pizza Napolita coming from the mother land and Naples, but it is Da Bomb!!! The crust is off the hook. Great sauce. Fresh mozzarella cheese, fresh basil, garlic, and a nice organic olive oil. I add something me fresh jalapeños and crushed red . It's OFF THE HOOK. This pizza was the bomb. Oh yeah, and the service was awesome!!! Super friendly and offering up ideas. Felt like we were being taken care of. Which is nice. Thanks :))Enjoy the pie......I know we did, several more times.... And counting:)
