Very interesting Van Leeuwen location. When we went at night it was the only establishment that was open in a plaza full of boutiques. All the other lights were dim and off and low and behold an ice cream oasis! Am I hallucinating lol? It was kind of eerie and when we went in the cashier didn't say hi or acknowledge us but stared! Apocalyptic vibes! Nonetheless I'm still gonna rate it a 4 because the ice cream is delicious- honeycomb one is our fav! Indeed an oasis in a dry and empty land. I'll show you a pic below of what I'm describing lol hahaw

Good ice cream. Don't worry about the "limited" selection, there is plenty of variety.

Horrible ice cream. Cashier was nice. My ice cream was CURDLED and icey. I got the PB brown flavor and there was an unchewable piece of substance in my ice cream that my tooth or spoon could not break. It was NOT a nut or brownie. I'm disgusted and disappointed by this ice cream place. They also charge $8 for one scoop. Nasty ice cream, and will not recommend this to anyone. The ice cream was a health hazard and I threw it away. Go to handel's down the street and they will give you something better. Heck, rite aid ice cream was better than this

Using this address and through "get directions" might take you to TARGET. It's not inside of Target. It's a little further UP on Ventura Blvd, same side, in a shopping plaza with the words COUNTRY MART in it. And if you go later in the night you can't miss it......as you pull in notice the stores on either side and around VL are closed.... and it looks like it's in black and white.... and at the very end SMACK in Front of you will be the only thing in-color..... like A PINK SQUARE BARBIE HOUSE at the end - THATS it, lol - It literally looks like a movie set. It's kinda trippy. I half expected the person serving to be wearing a pop-up DQ paper hat and have a huge plastered smile to say "WELCOME" They didn't, and were awesome, and so is their malted ice cream.

My third time treating myself to Leeuwen's ice cream. Always leaves me satisfied. Ice cream is fresh, available in a variety of flavors and staff is always very friendly. My go to since it is one of the only ice cream shops in the area that offers 4 different vegan flavors, with cashew milk. I'm lactose intolerant, so this is such a treat for me. I love the vegan fudge brownie and vegan strawberry shortcake. They also offer a vegan peanut butter chunk. If you can tolerate milk, my daughter loves the mint chocolate chip and pistachio. Enjoy!

Delicious ice cream. Sub par service. They opened late (sign said they opened at 11 and the employee showed up closer to 1115) and the employee also wasn't very friendly. We all loved the ice cream though

Delicious homemade ice cream options for a relatively affordable price. Compared to other premium ice creams in the area, to get two scoops of tasty creams for under $7 is a deal (may I say). Simple, no fuss, deliciousness. Friendly customer service in a playful, welcoming vibe.

Van Leeuwen's recently opened in this plaza, and I have to admit that I wasn't expecting ice cream to be this good! I'm not a huge fan of ice cream, but this really brightened my day. I sampled the Sicilian Pistachio and immediately had to purchase the entire pint after tasting its smooth texture. The ice cream had no icy bits, and it also doesn't have any warning signs. I enjoyed this at home while watching a show, and... if you ever buy a pint, please remember to exercise self control. A pint goes a long way... but not with Van Leeuwen's. Trust me, after you wield a spoon in your hand, that pint may be gone in less than 10 minutes... a true temptation to break any and all diets, so beware - you've been warned!

Was craving ice cream with my friends late at night and this place was open. The guy let us try a bunch of samples and was super chill. Got the 2 scoop sundae with coffee and brown sugar cookie dough with toasted nuts and it was a great decision.

Searching for a quick dessert with my coffee, I found Van Leeuwen! The service was friendly with a clean contemporary interior. The cup was $6.50 with a generous portion which is perfect for sharing.
