Super cute restaurant! Went with my parents and felt like I was in someone's little house. Food was delicious and the server was a nice guy.

The ambience is one of the greatest reasons why we keep returning. We missed Cameron's great service this time, but the young lady who helped us was great. Food , as always, was top notch. Only slight negative was there were more than one beverage choices not available, but listed on the menu.

this is the most friendly and the most delicious food in all of Woodside. I've been going there for the last 2 1/2 years and it is still every time as excellent as a first time.

As always, this neighborhood Gem delivered. Took my mother to dinner with my kids. They remembered us acknowledging my mother and remembering she loved chocolate for dessert. The drinks and wine list were good, the meal was great, and yes, Mom got chocolate for dessert. I highly recommend it!

The entrees we had, seafood stew and chilean sea bass, were both very bland and uninteresting. The bread pudding for dessert was a joke. It was more like a couple of small pieces of French toast with some chocolate syrup. I cannot recommend Firehouse Bistro.

Good food. Nice decor. Not family friendly at all. Very expensive.

My daughter ordered the file mignon, very good in flavor and perfect cooking, I ordered the pork chops, they couldn't be more perfect, juicy, good marinade, I would definitely order them again, a round of applause for the chef and the grill manager . My husband is a fan of risotto so he ordered the risotto with seafood, the consistency of the seafood was perfect and the flavor was very good. Just the risotto itself was very simple. For dessert we ordered Apple Crisp and crème brûlèe, both very good. The waiter, Felipe, was very friendly. As it was the first time we went, he gave us a very good explanation of everything. The parking lot is very accessible, the place is small so it is good to make a reservation.

Intimate setting. Service was good, though they were out of the wine we originally ordered. Entree portions were on the small side. I'll come back in the summer and sit out on the outside deck.

What a quaint restaurant! Highly recommend for either a date night or family outing. Every dish was 10/10 so can’t go wrong with anything.

This was our first time at Firehouse. We selected it because of its proximity to a venue w were attending next and how charming it looked on its webpage and how enticing the menu. We were nor disappointed. We dined with friends who also had never been there and we were all delighted. If we didn't have so many delicious alternatives in downtown San Mateo where we live, we would return, bur we enjoy walking to dinner from our house.

The food was absolutely delicious. Definitely everything was made from scratch. We started with the seafood bisque (delicate and beautifully balanced), I had the scallops with creamy polenta (the scallops were tender, and the polenta clearly made the right way). We also had the pork chops Over cooked perfectly to order). we shared a dessert – an apple crumble – just the right amount of sweetness. The wine list was good and the service impeccable. I am adding this restaurant as one that I will return to.
