I've been coming here since I was 10 and I learned how to snowboard from Art at the lessons. The vibe is chill stoner vibes. It's a fun environment and always enjoy coming back each winter

With the exception of our experience with BILL TEAGUE, Mt. High was fun. Bill responded to an email I sent on Tuesday that said I wanted information about the Senior Stars program and that I was going to be there on Wednesday. He sent back the link but that was it. Three of us took the day off and drove from OC to Mt. High only to be told at the ticket window that the Senior Stars program was sold out already... and that it had sold out before Bill Teague sent me the email. We talked to him directly about this and in his grumpy demeanor, he said there was nothing he could do. It cost us over double to ski that day. He could have saved everyone a whole lot of grief if he simply would have put in his email to check first as the program often times is sold out. If Bill Teague is the face of Mt. High's customer service - you have a huge problem. Mt. High - I'm open to discussing this in more detail as it is not appropriate to air all of the dirty laundry in this review...

Love snowboarding mt.high... great crowd with music on the bench/table with bbq stand outside. Saw many people who are learning with ski/snowboarding lesson. Take your time you will get there... lift ticket 139.00 all day pass. Somewhat pricey now. But cant complain since its my hobby.

Had the absolute best experience this past weekend at Mt High taking a ski lesson with our amazing instructor Tanya (go gators!) Tanya and all of the instructor staff were not only extremely welcoming but friendly and encouraging during our two hour lesson. We had only skied once before with no formal lesson so wanted to really learn the fundamentals and improve. Tanya was SO encouraging and patient with us every step of the way. She truly made our day and we had the best time! Thank you to the Mt. High staff for making our day one to remember!

I am grateful for the school program and that i as able to teach my kids to ski. But after trying for 7 weeks to reach a human being to sign up my kids' school for the program and not able to reach a human being, I have to give them one star. Their email inquiry links do not work (and if they do no one replies to them), the phone prompt ends with no one answering the phone and v.m. boxes full and unable to leave messages. I did reach an operator once and the person I needed once. I was promised and email both times. No email has yet arrived and I once again cannot get anyone to pick up a phone. It's absurd.

Let me begin by saying, the pictures are misleading and likely outdated. The fries were a tasty highlight. The burger was I believe a frozen patty which surprised me. It was flavorful but just not what I expected. I love the mineral water! lol My husband ordered the Philly cheesesteak and said it wasn’t Phillying. It was camp food so we were okay with it not being gourmet, but the pictures really set our hungry mouths to drooling and that was the real issue. We were hungry after a long road trip.

No handicapped accessibility, the disappointing thing was that in my attempt to use the inaccessible restroom, not one staff member offered any assistance and watched me struggle.Parking: There was no handicapped parking. The venue is great but not the easiest to navigate.Wheelchair accessibility: There's no wheelchair accessibility at all, There's a rocky unpaved path that allowed entry into the back of the building, it was not safe, There's no way to go inside the restaurant or the bathrooms, which are gross and narrow with no handicapped stall You must go up 5 stars and across a large room and down a hallway to get to the bathroom. Being an historic building is cool just because you don't have to doesn't mean you shouldn't. Just saying. Came for the music and left so I could use the bathroom.

we were camping in the area at table mountain campground and we stop by over here at the North lodge just to get a quick little breakfast sandwich while we were camping there. It was a pretty good sandwich can’t complain.

A couple a days we brought our boyz here for snow play... our little hidden gem North Pole tubbing park. It is high on the right side of Wrightwood. Before Covid they had an awesome inner tube play area. Unfortunately, we've been here several times during and after Covid, and have not seen inner tubing opened. Even thought mount Baldy, so only 30 minutes away from home, Mt.Baldy is not a place for snow play because of crowds, unless you go up higher for snowboarding. And this is the reason we loved Wrightwood. This year with all the rain, and snow we've had, we truly thought North Pole tubbing would be open, but nope.... Wondering why not. The snow play by the lifts it is always so crowded, and maybe I'm just to old now ... but if it isn't Disneyland, I don't like to deal with over crowding if I don't have to. Luckily we have our own snow toys, and tubbing, so we were able to enjoy the tons of snow during spring .

We skied mid-week after some heavy snow, enjoying the $119 "discounted" online lift ticket and one of us needed rentals. Their WiFi was down so it took them a while to figure out how to process things and how to get rentals. Everyone was friendly but not in a rush.Conditions were great in the morning but deteriorated pretty quickly as things heated up - it never really got too crowded on the East side though. We brought our own lunch and were easily able to find a table to eat. We skied 5 runs in the morning and 4 more in the afternoon. It's not the greatest skiing but it's under an hour and a half from Orange County and it's always an enjoyable day!

I was there 3 days after the biggest storm in years. I arrived to the East side. I arrived so excited!!!! Lots of snow!!! Then I started to ski and noticed most of the mountain on the east is not groomed. Why was the East side not well groomed ?? After being closed for so long getting lots of amazing snow,,, no grooming?!?!?!? I left so disappointed. Not sure I will be renewing my season pass next year based on this let down :(

Initially getting to the rental location had a full lot so we had to park at the lower location and take the shuttle up which ate into the amount of time for skiing and snowboard. What would've helped a little for my noob experience of understanding which of the three lifts went to which elevation which my d*** soul went to medium difficulty without realizing it on rented skis with zero knowledge of how to ski so I had a bad time even with future cousin in law trying to teach me. End up getting rescued by a snow mobile staff! God bless you sir lol! Was about to continue walking down the slope from the middle of the mountain. Ended up switching to snowboarding because I'd had one previous experience snowboarding which thank goodness this place allows for one switch and that switch of gear made the difference in overall experience with enjoyment. I was able to relearn snowboarding on the carpet ramp up to the kiddie slope and then get a few good runs on the easy snowflake lift 3 before calling it a day. Note to newcomers: Right side carpet is best to start, then to the left of that slightly up the slope is lift 3 which is the easy slopes. So the difficulty as it stands is from the right to left is easiest to hardest which is also lowest elevation from the right to the left is the highest elevation.

So I'm pretty new to snowboarding so take this review with a grain of salt. My main issue is how much they charge for lift tickets here. It is not a resort, and the snow is rarely fresh which means it's all pumped and groomed. The views are pretty but not spectacular. It's fantastic for beginners. So many greens and easy lift lines. There is an outdoor patio and grills and bar which I actually love. Fire pit tables too. Parking is a little unclear and I wouldn't pay lol. I just parked like a smidge down from the main lot for free. The rental options were limited (for my dad not me) but they did the job. It's pretty close and easily accessible instead of going alllll the way to Big Bear. Overall I'd say good to give it a try if you're new and looking to learn at an easy spot.
