My Heidi is always happy when I leave her there!

⚠️ WARNING ⚠️: there is a similar pet sitting business with the same name in the area, it is NOT this business but she no doubt capitalizes on it. This woman is named Mary, the other woman, Jeanine Burg, and her husband, who runs this at her home is absolutely insane. I mean, schizophrenia, believes successful people have made deals with the devil or “Baphomet” insane. I wouldn’t leave my goldfish with this woman, let alone any sentient creature whom I love. Don’t make the mistake I did and think it’s the same business.

Happy Tails also does training. I've been taking my rescue dog here, as she is very fear aggressive. First, I started with a few private sessions with Kristina Pomagier, to get my dog, Addie, accustomed to the facility and to Kristina. After a few sessions, we got brave and last night attended a group "Dog Reactivity" class. The first class of a 5-week series was "people only". Last night was our first session with dogs. There were only 4-5 dogs in the class. I thought for sure my dog would be a barking nightmare but Kristina said, she'll be fine. Believe it or not, all the dogs calmed down after a few minutes and then focused as we started to work with them. Before we knew it, each dog was walking in the common area, within eyesight of the others and the dogs were mostly calm. The trick is in the treats and Kristina's calm manner! I was so proud of my girl! I will keep attending Kristina's classes until my dog is as well behaved as she can be. Thank you, Kristina!

This cute place for pups has closed. No longer in business and space has been vacated.

I am a regular at this center, so 9/1/21 as I was nextdoor on the back deck, there was a white shepherd who was very, very thin & had multiple tiny flies hovering all around his ears, body and legs. It was definitely neglected. OC Animal control was there in the front waiting to be let in. I saw 2 large German Shepherds inside crowded into a medium sized wire crate. It was so small that 1 of the shepherds was forced to stand, unable to lie down because the 2nd shepherd was taking up the space. Who knows how many hours they were crowded into this crate. I will never forget how that looked. It bothered me so much that I private-messengered the owner Mary A. (AKA Mary D.) to politely let her know of my concern and asked her nicely if the 2 Shepherds could be put into 2 cages? She made an excuse, and then blocked me. I was suprised because she had been so friendly when she first opened 2 yrs ago and gave me a tour. I learned that she had been evicted after not paying rent for 18 mos. She took the eviction notices off the front window. Later in the day I went back & a man was knocking on the door, and told me the owner had gotten her lease back! He was lying for her & acting suspicious. Now there are "For Lease" signs on the windows. The story goes on, but I would definitely not trust her, after what I've seen, and her behavior, and that of her helper.

Owner is being sued by landlord and owes over 250k in back rent and should be shut down. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE. Case Id: 30-2021-01184041-CU-UD-CJC Mary Dozier has not paid rent for 19 months. HAPPY TAILS RANCH, LLC DEFENDANT MARY DOZIER DEFENDANT The attachments are readily available through the OC superior court website.

September 2, 2021. The facility had a sign up early in the day saying Happy Tails was moving to a new facility. Animal control also was on the premises. Two German Shepherds were crowded into one crate. Later in the day, the sign was gone. The place looked deserted, and when I stepped inside to inquire about the 6 or 7 dogs that had been in crates all day, the woman was extremely rude and would not answer any questions. At least the German Shepherds had been put in separate crates at this point. However, I'm sure the owners of these dogs do not expect them to be in cages all day long. The facility smelled horrible and looked like it was one step removed from being abandoned. I don't know what is going on at Happy Tails Ranch, but I would think long and hard about leaving your dog there - especially after reading some of these negative Yelp reviews.

Mary is amazing. All the staff loves dogs and love what they do. I trust Harley with noone else! She jumps out of the car as soon as we put it in park!!

Mary, Dani, and staff are truly amazing! They understand dogs and our pup (Charlie) had such an amazing time. We had peace of mind knowing he was in good hands. Thank you for taking such great care of him! He truly had a blast!

Don't bother asking questions. You'll get a "Your dog doesn't have to stay here.. go to PetSmart" Thanks. We will.

Super satisfied and definitely recommend bringing your dog here for grooming! I previously took my dogs to PetSmart for grooming and they are very overpriced and not very courteous with your time... I brought my 2 dogs in at 1:30 and picked them up at 3. That's great timing for two dogs ( one long hair- one short hair). Not to mention very cost effective. Thank you Happy Tails Ranch! We will definitely be using your business again.

Best dog sitting place in Orange County. My dog leaves so happy and Mary is awesome. Treats you like a fellow dog lover and friend, not just as a customer.

My dog has gone to HTR for training, boarding and doggie day care. When I first started taking her to Mary, she was really dog reactive and would constantly pick fights with other pups. When she first started going to daycare, she had to wear a muzzle which I know sounds extreme, but it was the only way she could interact with other pups. I started training with Mary shortly after Dottie started going to daycare and within a couple months, Dottie was running around and playing with no muzzle. Mary helped me become a better owner to Dottie and really support her in the areas that she was nervous. Now, Dottie cannot WAIT to go play at HTR.
