Best overall spot in yreka for sure. 10 bucks to sit down to a big plate of food with chips and salsa is the best deal you are going to find. Plus they have it out in 5 minutes because i have things to do. The other places charging almost 15 dollars for a burrito is almost insulting. Very friendly and accommodating wait staff. Green salsa is excellent.

Stopped here on a drive down from OR to CA. Great service, delicious food, cute traditional atmosphere. They serve beans and cotija with the chips and salsa. Mmm. I got the albondigas and husband got a combo plate. Everything was delicious. Would stop here again.

Well, we've been coming to this establishment for years. The staff are attentive and quick with requests. We were a party of 8 today for my mom's 91st bday. They sang for her and she got to wear the big sombrero. The problem was the food. My tostado tasted off. The lettuce and avocado seemed old and tasteless. My son's fajita plate was over done and tasted burnt. My husband's chili relleno was so tuff he could barely cut it with a knife. He ordered a beer which ended up being non alcoholic which would have worked but it was flat, and his shredded beef enchilada ended up being chicken. I was too embarrassed to ask what the other 5 thought of their food. Again the staff are great. But I'm not sure why the food has deteriorated. The restaurant in Mt Shasta is so disappointing we quit going. Hopefully they'll get it together. I hate to give up on our favorite restaurant in Yreka. $180, which I don't mind spending if we can brag about it later. 3 stars because the staff are excellent. Get a new cook???
We had combo's from their Lunch Menu which had the best prices and value than the other Mexican Restaurants in town!

One of the best Mexican restaurants I've even been to and I have been to many! Favorite waitress is Victoria ' Vivki' I could write a whole paragraph about her, but let's say she is the best in every way. Always laughing with us. Our food is very good, and if we want something special or different they are quick to accommodate with a smile.

I had the Azoro con pollo lunch special. It was fantastic. Lots of beautifully grilled mushrooms, onions, and peppers. Chicken was nice and tender. The rice underneath with shredded cheese was cooked perfectly. Our waitress was super personable and friendly. We got a nice little dessert special on the house, a cinnamon sugar fried tortilla with fresh whipped cream and strawberry glaze.
