How I recived my burrito. Destoryed tortilla. No attempt at wrapping, they just tucked the tortilla and the entire bottom is unwrapped. The Pico tomatoes were pink and hard. They were having electrical issues again, so we sat outside. Hope they get things together, cuz we love their food.

Always a nice, clean, bright environment to walk into. My go-to is anything with the sweet pulled pork, usually the nachos, but that meat is good in any form or option. They also have great street tacos.

I came across this place on accident and omg..... so good. I had chicken tacos, cilantro rice, half and half beans of course sided with queso and chips & it did not disappoint. Everything was delicious!

Let me start by saying that I think the food here is great. The 2 stars are for staff. As one other reviewer had mentioned, they need proper training. If you work in a place where your customers are not all Spanish speaking (I speak Spanish myself by the way), it's considered rude to be speaking in your native language even if your discussion doesn't pertain to anything else. Also, customers shouldn't feel rushed in making their selections. Otherwise, reduce the number of selections if you want customers to get their food ready in a minute since it appears some staff don't have the patience to wait or be told to put a number of things in the plate. You are called a "server" for a reason. And I have been a server myself and took pride in bagging grocery items for shoppers in my college days. Find another work if serving isn't for you. Management should address these concerns/issues because you are paying employees who are actually doing your business harm by turning away customers.

We used Costa Vida to cater our wedding in Chico, CA and we couldn't have picked a better place! Everything from the first call, to the food sampling, to the actual event was fantastic! The food is authentic and the choices are amazing! The prices are great. The team was friendly and efficient and they handled it all. I never had to think for stress about the food part of the wedding- that is the best thing for the bride!! I highly recommend Costa Vida for catering for any event- or even for lunch, we had a great time when we ate there for lunch as well.

I can't believe they charge for the meat. The only one they forced you to get without paying is the Sweet pork. Already paying 10.99 for the food and want to charge for any other type for meat.

Everything was excellent. Much better than I expected. Best Costa Vida I have ever been too I had the salad with steak it was huge. My husband and I shared it. So much yummy food.Kid-friendliness: The kids meals are much better than most.
This visit was very unpleasant.ServiceUpon getting in line, the staff were not friendly at all. Not a smile, nor greeting whatsoever. This is very off putting to say the least.The person asking “what do you what?” never smiled or really looked up. Pretty rude.Cleanliness of restaurantThis place needs a good thorough cleaning. From the glass on the food counter to the light scones (see picture). Those lights were full of dust and what appeared to be dead bugs. Probably should be reported to County Health Department.Very dissatisfied overall.
