I'm sorry to say that the food has gone downhill, since COVID?? We used to go in and get chips, salsa and a couple of personal pizzas along with a few beers. Well no more chips and salsa which is ok. But we went in last night and I had the worst 9" pizza ever and to top it off the first bottle of beer we had was cold but the second was warm and instead of saying "hey the beer was just put in the fridge" the waiter gave us a chilled glass like that was supposed to cool the warm beer down. So after 60.00 we have decided after many years of dining here that last night was our last. Sorry to see such a nice restaurant deteriorate like that, haven't been to the competitor next door out of loyalty to the "tomato" but maybe next trip out we will.

Food was okay, nothing special for the price. I got the french toast, which came with no protein. It was pretty bland to boot. My spouce had the eggs, sausage and potatoes. Again things were bland. He did absolutely love the french roll toast though. He said that was the best part of the meal. I probably wouldn't go back but it was worth a try.

Food is mediocre at best and the service is not great. Prices are a bit high for the quality of food. Convenient location. Ambiance is so so

Great Fresh Italian Food, Locally Owned. Funny because it is directly next to a well-known expensive Italian chain restaurant whose is not locally owned, not fresh food, not locally sourced.

Came here for lunch around 1pm or so. We were seated right away. TONS of seating! For small parties or intimate. It was just me and my husband so we got seated at a booth. Our server was Kaleigh and she was a doll! Great service. Polite. Friendly and even gave me a great suggestion on the menu. And her suggestion was right cause I loved what I ordered. Was so yummy The place itself is super cute. Pictures on every wall. Humor. Cozy vibes I ordered the country rustic penne pasta which was delicious! I would definitely order again. My husband ordered the melted patty or something like that. He enjoyed that as well I recommend and I would definitely come back again!

I really don't know where to begin. This place was simply amazing. Even in giving that compliment, still does not feel like it gives it justice. We'll start from the outside making our way in. Parking lot was full but there were parking spaces designated for the restaurant itself. I appreciate this because when you're sharing parking spaces with other restaurants, it tends to be a little more crowded. Walking in, it felt like I was walking into someone's house. I'd loved the library of books as well as the selection of gumball machines and games for kids. It really felt like this was a placement for everyone. We were seated immediately and were greeted by our server, Jen. I was particularly impressed by how she was able to write her name upside down in cursive as though it were right side up. Took care of us throughout the time we were there. My wife and I enjoyed different plates of pasta and I loved every bite of it. What's the thought to me the most about our pasta was the homemade tomato sauce. You can definitely tell when something has been homemade fresh, or generic. The noodles were cooked just right and the bread! Oh, the bread. My wife and I shared a plate of super garlic toast with fresh roasted garlic. Squeezing the garlic out of its husk was some of the most satisfying Experiences I've had ever. The garlic was sweet but it paired well with the crunchy, lightly salted taste of the bread. The garlic bread was next level! They brought it out in two pieces at a time and wow. I usually don't ask for other peoples food but when I saw my wife wasn't eating her bread, I began to pick at it And then gave the rest to her because it was not good. The garlic bread was soft on the inside, with a light toasty crunch on the outside. I would've loved to have more garlic on that bread but it was so good regardless. I also had the chance to try one of their signature drinks that was inspired by a customer who used to frequent their restaurant. I loved the mix of Dr Pepper and grenadine. The lights were dim but not to the point where you could not see in front of you. For those who are looking for a more solo, or personal experience, there is a bar available to the side of the restaurant. My wife and I were able to enjoy a nice, quiet, and tasty dinner after a pretty hard week. To top it all off, this place is local! I love supporting local establishments. According to yelp, they have been in business for more than 20 years and I can see what keeps them in business. I am very happy to have found this place on a whim and I'm so glad that we were able to enjoy this piece of Sutter county. We will definitely be making our way back here and bringing friends when they visit.
