Amazing food, gesture, hospitality and so welcoming . I am vegetarian and my son is a hindu non-vegetarian, and this restaurant covered both. Definitely I recommend and will go to this same restaurant next time if I get a chance to visit Yuba City.

If you love Indian food, The Taj is a must try.This place has won us over with its impeccable cleanliness, flavorful dishes, great pricing, and super kind hospitality of its staff. We've dined there twice now, and each time, we've stuck to the classics like butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, and chicken vindaloo – all of which were fantastic!But what really surprised us were the lesser-known dishes we discovered – malai kofta(my new favorite!), tandoori chicken, fish pakora(another new favorite!!), and karahi paneer. They were like hidden gems on the menu, bursting with flavor and utterly delicious. And let's not forget the garlic naan, mango lassi, and those mouthwatering samosas!Oh, and don't even get me started on the chutneys, sauces, and the dessert counter – everything is so delicious!It's safe to say that if you're not dining at The Taj, you're truly missing out on unforgettable Indian food.

Went in today for the lunch buffet, and it was fantastic. Each item I had (basically every item) was well seasoned, tasty, and fresh. The new layout is really nice too. Sodas, teas, and fresh naan are included in the price of the buffet, so great value. Definitely will be going back!

This place is amazing! The food was absolutely delicious! I will definitely be coming here every time I crave Indian food :) I ordered Basmati Rice, plain naan, Garlic Presto Naan, butter chicken, and Saag Chicken! Also the staff here are very kind! I love the friendly atmosphere!

I think I just got food poisoning from this place yesterday. And I have been here so many times. The lady at the register definitely doesn't like me, I just have no idea why. Don't remember doing anything, I am black and my husband is white. That's the only thing I can think of. We tip well too. Definitely not going back.

We ordered samosas which were pretty tasty. And then we ordered lamb korma with naan. Lamb korma was unfortunately honestly terrible. It was probably the worst Indian curry I had ever tried. Not only the sauce was a very bad flavor and texture, but also the lamb itself didn’t taste fresh at all. Horrible food. Waste of money.Naan was okay.Service was not bad, friendly.Atmosphere is very bad, feels more like a warehouse than a restaurant.
