We got two jalapeño poppers 7 count and a large fry and the max sauce they would give me is 4 ranch I've never had a place ask me to pay more for some more sauces so I recommend going elsewhere just based on that such as Chick-fil-A they give as much as you want. They also made us pull to the front with nobody in line and as I'm typing this up there still isn't anyone on the drive thru like what...forget this place I don't go to the upper jack in the box because they are not good now I won't be going to this one either.

Multiple times now they have forgotten my items or made them wrong. And I get all the way home to. Find out and have to drive all the way back. And they don't answer their darn phone. And they're rude and non accommodating. Especially when they mess up. The manager said he asked the employees if it has everything, so he laid them out to dry.

Been meaning to post a review for a LONG time. Things started out rough here but have gotten better. I'll post my old draft at the end, but here's what's up in the present: I'm opening myself for judgment here. The biggest factor that keeps me coming back to Jack in the Box in general is that it's trash food. Not junk food, TRASH food that lures me in like I'm a grubby raccoon with a thyroid problem. I can get greasy, messy, calorie laden nonsense until the wee hours... and also a chicken teriyaki bowl. The chaos of the menu is half the fun! The prices have gone way up recently, which has me conflicted and downgrades this to a 3 star situation across the franchise, but since my beef is with Mr. Box and not this location, I'm holding steady with my 4 star rating. May each star shine in its own oil-soaked glory. If you have little-to-no regard for your own dignity or cholesterol level, there's a $10 burger called the Bacon Double Smashed Jack that contains 1070 calories. You get a brioche bun slopped together with 2 quarter-pound patties, "boss sauce," American cheese, hickory smoked bacon, pickles, grilled onions. It calls my name but also rifles through my wallet for loose change because WHY AM I SHELLING OUT $10 TO DIE SOONER? But if you, too, are a grubby trash panda after 9pm, I begrudgingly recommend it. I basically feel like I have to sneak here in the dead of night bc my pride can't let me run into people I know while carrying a Jack in the Box bag. But that's a "me" problem, not a "you" problem. OLD DRAFT I FORGOT ABOUT First impression: Saw the "Now Open!" sign on Yucaipa Blvd, so headed over to try the shiny new restaurant when it was brand new. Ordered 6 tacos, a Jumbo Jack, and two teriyaki chicken bowls. Then I started a timer from the time I ordered at the drive thru speaker until I got my food (there were two cars in front of me). It took... a while. 16 minutes from ordering to getting food handed over. The food was meh, and the tacos were actually cold. Since that first experience I've been back several times and each time was a positive experience. The wait times have gotten shorter, too.

Was in Newport and made an online order, it didn't update my location like it normally does and I accidentally placed my order at this location. (Was there the day prior) called to cancel order right away and the "manager" said well the order has already been made and it isnt their fault that it was ordered there. They tried to claim they had no way to cancel it and we would have to drive out there to get a refund. If they are able to take online orders they are able to cancel them, just another lazy worker that doesn't want to do anything. Ended up calling bank to get refund since they are useless. Also wanted to add they allow bums to constantly bug their customers.
Amazing location!!! I'm very impressed with the employees in the afternoons for having a good attitude. They are very welcoming and the girl with the brown hair in braids has always met my expectations while working in drive through. I would say this is the best Jack in the Box to go to in Yucaipa.

What a garbage place went at 11:40 and they closed at 12 but they said they were closed. Had to back out of the driveway cause god forbid they use their brains and if they are gonna close early just turn the lights off… $12 an hour at its finest.

After my family and I waited without being greeted for several minutes to order with no other customers in line, the young woman who appeared to be the manager skipped over us when she finally made it to the front counter and went to help another customer who had walked in while we were waiting. I asked the Manager for her name and she refused and then asked me to leave if I was unhappy. I've known the GM Roman for almost 30 years, since he was at Highland/Palm location and I truly hope that he can get this location running properly as I'm evidently not the only dissatisfied customer. I see someone is responding to these reviews fairly regularly and only hope that the issues are remedied. I will be reaching out to Roman and Sharifa personally as well. In the meantime I suggest everyone visit the 4th street location where they still knock it out of the park! The downtown location may be shiny, but at the moment is far inferior. I'd rather eat with hobos than be treated like that again...
