Had breakfast again there this morning. Probably my favorite 'Mexican breakfast' spot in the area. Chips were freshly made and salsa had some bite. Homemade flour tortillas are great. Beans are good. Potatoes with onion and peppers are great also. But the eggs crack me up. I had the Mexicana scrambled version with jalapeño onion and tomato and I swear it was made with 6 eggs! I had enough food to take home that I won't have to cook dinner! Plus, they added some shredded beef which really made it great. I haven't had lunch or dinner there but the breakfast has been consistently awesome.

Service is poor unless you are a large group, hopefully ensuring a large tip, they proudly beg for cash tipping. If you are a small group bring a flag to get your servers attention. High price and LOW QUALITY. We went again a couple of weeks later thinking perhaps they had a bad day. Ordered their $17.00 menudo bowl, mostly hominy, Luke warm..maybe their cook is from Kansas ? They serve alcohol, that must be the draw.

Food is awful and over cooked, service is a little better. They never bring you water if you ask for it. Overpriced, refills 1.99 & more chips and salsa is 1.99. Over priced , Yucaipa has better mexican food restaurants.. no bueno.

Soo expensive $47 for 2 tortas and side of rice , the tortas meat was average such a small portion though like not 1 single piece of asada was one top of another just a thin layer of it also the tomato was the thickest part of the sandwich for the price it should be full of meat and flavor not mostly bread and

My wife ordered a breakfast burrito and got mostly all potato, and the rest was like half of an egg and half a bit of bacon. It should have been called potato burrito. I ordered a bowl of menudo, which was a cold. I don't mind paying for good food, but when it's bad, it's bad $32 dollars.

It was a surprise. It's a small restaurant, but the fact it remained packed is the reward for serving great food. Food was really great. The price is comparable to other restaurants, but with far superior taste and quantity.

Food is usually good. Service is ok. This place is the proverbial hole in the wall local Mexican place. What I see that they instituted is a 3% additional charge on the bill if you use a credit card. Now this is offensive since I pay my credit card bill every month. There is no reason to pay interest when I pay in full. And particularly since the servers all want to paid in cash not thru the credit card total on the check. This is not acceptable especially since they have raised the menu prices like three times in the last 18 months. If someone wants to open a business the use of credit cards is a cost of doing business. if you don't want customers to use cards post it on the door and see how long the business exists. very disappointing.

Party of 2, my husband ordered the Machaca breakfast, he enjoyed the bursting flavors of the combined shredded beef, eggs, onions, green bell peppers, tomatoes, & some jalapeños (not hot) perfectly seasoned. My chile verde with the over-easy eggs was just simply delicious, as a chile verde connoisseur I can say the flavors were on point, plus the homemade tortillas . My husband was happily surprised the establishment has a full bar. He ordered a shot of Jameson to add to his coffee. Service was fast and our waitress was very friendly, she kept on checking on us for more coffee or anything else. Overall we were very satisfied!
