Worst Korean restaurant I’ve ever been. This is not authentic Korean bbq. Horrible side dishes. Do not waste your money and your time.

We were pleasantly surprised when we stopped by for dinner on a Saturday night. Authentic, delicious Korean cuisine! We had Sogogi Bulgogi along with various sides like cabbage and cucumber kimchi. The restaurant was clean and the staff was awesome! We will definitely be back to try more of their delicious BBQ!

As a vegetarian I went here for the bee beem bop. This has been a favorite dish of mine since the 80s and this restaurant definitely knows how to make it well!Vegetarian options: There are few veg options, but I will be going here when I have a taste for their bee beem bop, so I don't really need other optiond

Overall I enjoyed the food here. What I didn't enjoy was that I had called yesterday to book a reservation for 7 people and then when we arrived we were put at two separate tables. My family wanted to have dinner together and we ended up separated. Because we ended up at separate tables I had asked if only one table could do the all you can eat since they separated us anyway and the servers said we could not, which made no sense. I've been a customer here before but this was just overall a really disappointing experience. I was really excited to bring my family from overseas here so we could spend time together and they could try korean food. Not sure if I would come back after this.

Decently good food but the price is pretty high. I have been to other similar restaurants in other cities where it was significantly better. The biggest downside was the quality of the cuts of meat was not great. Lots of big globs of fat and connective tissue. Also a lack of unique dipping sauces. The three different sauces taste the same just with different levels of spiciness. While we live close and I love Korean BBQ I probably won't come back.

Dae Gee Korean BBQ has great food, good service, and an attractive, fun atmosphere. The waitress is always helpful, including looking out for our grandson and anticipating our needs. The side dishes are colorful and interesting.

Fun, the food was great but the service was dry. They got us food and got us out of there. Other than that the food was amazing, the kimchi pancakes were spot on!

Worst dining experience I’ve had in Denver, unfortunately. I met with a group of friends (4 others) for lunch. They were all doing the “Unlimited BBQ,” but I was not able to do that. I told the waitress that I could not do that and she said that the unlimited bbq had to be a table decision. She mentioned that the only exceptions were for “allergies or vegetarians.” I told her, again, that I could not do the unlimited. I was with a group of new friends that I did not think I would be forced into explaining my dietary restrictions, but I guess that was the case.In order to allow the other 4 members of our group to order their menu choices, I was forced to order it as well. I was only able to eat a small cup of white rice.On top of the $40 charge for the unlimited, an 18% gratuity was also added to my bill, bringing the total for my cup of rice and diet soda to $51.90.To not disturb my group or put their food safety at risk, I waited until after they left to call to speak to a manager. When I called, I spoke with a very unprofessional staff member who refused to share her name with me. She told me that they did not have a manager and that I would need to speak to the owner, whom she said is “maybe” there after 1pm M-F. After explaining my situation and wondering if they would be willing to lower the amount that they charged me, she told me that she did not like the tone I presented and threw the phone down while she got our waitress. When my waitress got on the phone, she told me that she did remember me saying I couldn’t do the unlimited, but said that since I didn’t blatantly say that I had a dietary restriction, there was nothing that the company would do about it.She gave me her name and the owner’s name, but also would not share the name of the disrespectful person I first connected with.A food establishment should not require somebody to blatantly share information about a dietary restriction in order to honor their request of ordering something different off of the menu, especially when they would have changed the menu selection for the four other members of our party.Owner (I won’t put your name here, but I know it and have this phone call recorded), please respond to me with a good time to contact you and I will do so.I’ll look forward to speaking with you - I think there’s a huge learning opportunity here for you and your staff.
