We discovered this delightful restaurant on the last night of our stay in Aspen. The theme is mountain Austrian and it is beautifully and quirkily decorated as such, perfect for a mountain town. The food was delicious with gluten free and vegetarian options. Meanwhile, my husband had the best schweinshaxe he has ever tasted. The servers were excellent and friendly. This may be our favourite Aspen restaurant now.

Always have had a fabulous time at Almresi. The staff is very friendly and the food outstanding. It's also one of the few places at a US ski resort that serves gluhwein and very tasty too. The Vail location also a great spot!

The food was just not very good. The white sausage was boiled rather than grilled and the fondue didnt come in the traditional pot with heater, but in a little plate, which didnt keep it alive. In general very overpriced for the quality. Service was good. They were attentive.

Cutest little place in Aspen with a Bavarian flair! Authentic German pretzel served on an antler, salads creatively served and big enough to share, delicious entrees reminiscent of European vacation finds. We enjoyed generous pork shank and beef and noodles. Sides paired were tasty accompaniments. Special treatment on Valentine's Day included a long stem red rose for each lady. Definitely look forward to returning to make sure we get to try one of their famous desserts!

Greatest restaurant in Aspen! Their interior looks amazing, Austrian-German food and drinks great and service fabulous! We were there 3 times after we chose other options in town and never regretted - it’s completely sent me back in time. I was like in best brewery houses of Germany! I recommend them to everyone who will be in Aspen.

Outstanding dinner! Beet salad, short ribs, schnitzel, keiserschmarnn all were excellent, as usual. One of our, if not our favorite restaurants. Each time we eat here or a sister restaurant we go home longing to go back. Staff is wonderful and atmosphere is amazing. We recommend to everyone we know who is heading to CO to make a stop, as it's always delicious!

Almresi reminds me of eating at a Swiss chalet. With Switzerland-inspired decor and pricing, the food was quite delicious; the pork shank was incredibly juicy and fork-tender (no knifing about it). A great meal at an Aspen-expected price point. Service was very attentive and it's worth stopping by for a meal.

The food was very good, but the ambience lacked. While the Bavarian style decor is fun, the music and lighting were bothersome. They play German music which I get, but the music was WEIRD. The lighting was really bright. If they would fix these two things, I would definitely go back. Fondue, pork and schnitzel were excellent.

The decor inside made you feel like you are in Bavaria. Workers dressed in lederhosen and dirndls. Cow bells, cow pictures, and deer all over. We have lived in Colorado for 6 years and these are the only potato pancakes I would recognize as such and they were good. Next time I will try the lamb.

Excellent restaurant, great service, upbeat ambiance. I do not love German food, but my girlfriend said this was a great restaurant, and it was. Highly recommend the pork shank. Loved the mulled wine.

Excellent experience and fantastic food overall. It beat our expectations by a long shot. I'd recommend the schnitzel. Our waiter, Tom, was very attentive and professional.

If you enjoy eating out for the ambiance as much as the food, you'll love this cozy and quaint Austrian-themed restaurant. We had fantastic service and food. Really enjoyed the Austrian wine list too! Highly recommend for a memorable evening out while in Aspen.
