We were looking for a casual simple place to eat, and we found it at the Ale House! We just had to walk out the door at the Ritz and it was very convenient. The special soup was really delicious. My husband enjoyed his Caesar salad and our friends raved about the turkey club sandwich. There's not much service you go up to the counter order and then they bring you the food. Great views of Aspen Highlands. I hope to go back again before we leave.

arrogant bartenders thinking that they better than others. I asked a question and I was laughed at by them. They continued joking about it while I was still standing by the bar waiting for my drink. They made me and my companions uncomfortable.I’m suggesting giving these men few days off to relax and gain a new kind energy to come back working at the bar and serving others.Visited Thusrdays 2pm.

Classic alehouse located directly across from the ski lift at Highlands. This place is perfect for stopping in to grab a beer after hiking the Highlands Bowl. The service is a pay & order type restaurant so you'll go to the counter and order your food and drinks to be delivered to your table. The patio is great on a sunny day too!Wheelchair accessibility: Located on the first floor. No steps.

A super solid option at the Highlands base. The angus burger was perfect. Nice atmosphere that doesn’t scream rowdy apres dive.

This restaurant takes advantage of their location and lack of competition at a ski resort to charge exorbitant prices. The food is good, but overpriced (not to mention there was a surprise "Staff Cost of Living" fee thrown on the bill with no explanation). The service was subpar. The guy who took my order was impatient and stiff. What really ruined the experience for me is the fact that they were blasting EDM during my visit so that I couldn't hear my friend I was with over the yelling of other customers trying to also talk over the music. This isn't a nightclub, but the music makes it seem like they *kind of* think they are one.

Vegan and vegetarian options are AMAZING - and that's hard to find in the valley honestly. Great beer draft list too. Definitely gets slammed at lunchtime but our food came out super quickly when we stopped in for a late (2pm) lunch even though it was still pretty full.

Located at the base of Aspen Highlands, right in front of the main lifts, Highlands Alehouse is our favorite spot to grab food and drinks for lunch or after a day of skiing. The food is great, the pub is nice inside, and the service at the bar is excellent. You can't get any more convenient than this place if you're visiting the Highlands.

This place is casual and good for a refueling stop after hiking. Pizza, sandwiches and snacks were all good. The view was good. Service was quick. One of our group said her kale salad was awesome.
