Pizza was ok; overcooked bread was hard and didn’t have good flavor or taste. Expected more for $7 slice of pizza

Awful. Unbelievably awful. Racist.I walked up the stairs, even though my friend has physical disabilities. I must state now (as it’s important to the story)- we are both Black. My friend has dread locks.Upon coming up to the counter, I noticed several customers, all without food, and 2 employees. A middle aged man with a pony tail was playing on his phone. I waited 7-8 minutes before saying something. He was visibly playing some sort of war craft video game. After saying “excuse me, I’d like to place an order” yanky doodle looks up at me and scoffed. He was bothered, but we ordered anyway. I ordered 2 slices of pizza. So did my friend. He asked if we were sure we didn’t want the chicken wings. Seemed racially motivated. About 20 minutes later the pizza arrived on the counter. All the slices were cold. The sausage smelled funny. Genuinely inedible. I asked for my slice to be heated up and he said they were too busy to heat it. I asked for a refund and he said they couldn’t offer it and i should eat and enjoy it rather than complain. He also told my friend “YOU PEOPLE” should eat more and talk less. Wow. Next he turned around and ignored everything else I said. We left our pizza on the table. I will be contacting the owners.I will never come back. View this photo of the pizza. Racial injustice exists within a New York pizza shop in Aspen. Wow.

New York Pizza was okay. For a convenient, cheap lunch while shopping, it did the job.The pizza was alright. Sauce tasted like a red Barron. The crust was well cooked. An overwhelming amount of cheese. Portions were large for $7 in a mountain town.Main complaint was the service. Never once have I had an employee act so disgusted about asking questions relating to the menu. For starters, I was ignored for at least 5 minutes. My friend asked a question stating “what slice would you recommend? i’ve never been here”. He responded with “Get the pizza, no tricks about it”. After, he rolled his eyes. He then bare hand grabbed the pizza and tossed it in the oven. The food was fine, service was horrible. No need to be overly friendly, but he just went out of his way to be rude.

Long haired bloke behind the counter was not friendly. Lovely venue and generally nice staff. Ponytail man was a poes.

Excellent NY style pizza, by the pie or the slice. Fun atmosphere. Fills the need for pizza. You won't be disappointed.

Amateur hour. Showed up at 11:30. The advertised time of opening. Called to ask if they were open. They told me soon. One hour they opened the doors. Giant slices. Soggy and you need a spoon to eat them. NOT NY pizza should be the advertisement

Great NY style pizza place in downtown Aspen. It's upstairs and a little cozy since it's a small space, but the pizza is well worth the visit!

Incredibly poor service. Literally refused to give me a slice of pepperoni pizza prepared in lieu of cheese even though everyone in line before and after me had pepperoni.

Ordered 2 medium pizzas, 2 beers, and 12 wings…$108. Forgot our order and several others. Upgraded us to two undercooked large after an hour. Cook said he was proud of them. Wouldn’t go here again.

One of the worst calzone and pizza I ever had. From NJ and trust me the dough is tough like leather and the calzone ricotta was so dry I was choking on it. Nothing like the pictures you see.

If you read reviews from ages ago, don't worry about the cash only. They do take cards!! Food was good, large portions. Had 3 slices and the meatball sandwich. Went at 6:15p on a Friday - about a 10min wait to order and thankful there was an empty table for us to sit and eat at. Small eat-in dining area.
