I used to love this place and came here often. I take friends who come visit from out of town here all the time. Tonight after playing and paying for the game , which I thought was a friendly game of billiards our opponent who lost became extremely hostile. I was pushed against the pool table when simply trying to mediate an escalating situation. I walked away to leave the bar in confusion and fear when the bartender followed me out and told me to leave because (his friends) the people scamming people out of their money on the pool table went there more than I did. He told me he knew them, they were his friends. So even though they lost and he agreed that they lost AND pushed me, I was somehow in the wrong. I didn't touch anyone or even raise my voice. I just left. As I was leaving to avoid any further issues and because it's just not worth it. It's just a game. I was really disappointed in the bartender, he following me to intimidate me over his friend's loss. There's no need for that. I was leaving after being pushed. What's the point in that sir? Several older adults approached me outside and said they had paid for games they never got to play. My opponent had pocketed the money for the game and never allowed them to play. We're not the only ones who were treated this way and it's truly disappointing. I even asked the bartender calmly to check his cameras and see what his friends were up to, however he told me no and that he believed them without having to look at the cameras. Aspen is such a beautiful friendly place and those hostile people are ruining it. I really think management should train their staff in mediating issues instead of allowing their friends to attack other patrons over the loss of a silly game. What's going on here? Everyone should be treated equally. Not be robbed, attacked, and then be followed out in an intimidating fashion.

Came for drinks with a group. Took about 40 minutes to get 5 drinks after sitting down at the bar (2 of which were a beer and glass of wine). The bartender chose to serve multiple customers at once, leading to him spending most of his time moving around behind the bar. He was getting orders confused, lost, and burnt in the kitchen.I had to remind him of exactly what I ordered when it came time to pay and was charged $15 more than the bill was supposed to be.On top of all this, both bartenders seemed annoyed - I get that it’s tough when things get busy, but it really was a killjoy when I get a groan when asking to pay. This place really had some potential, but please hire enough staff to serve customers in a timely manner. No desire to return.

Upcharged heavily by the bartender without being told what the pricing was on mixed drinks. Asked for a well shot of whisky but was given something much more expensive. Also, the place smelled like sweaty balls. Do not recommend.

Came here with a crew of 12 people to get drinks and play pool. This place used to have pool for free but is now charging $5 per game.I would understand if the ambiance was better but this place is a shell of what it used to be. I would skip for other nearby bars

Went here on a whim one weekend and had the best time. Cowboy hats everywhere. It was such a vibe. Positivity all around. Queued songs on the jukebox and literally stayed dancing until we were kicked out! The staff was so kind and fun and amazing. And there was pool in the back room! Comfy booths to chill at too. 10/10 experience. Would 100% go back.

Great bar to stop in while on vacation. Karaoke was pretty good. One of the only places I found that you can shoot pool. They have one pool table and it cost five dollars a game which is quite ridiculous. We've always had a great time when we stop in Silver City.

Really happening on a Saturday night! We loved both the Yankee black out and the red eyed Prairie Dew. Excellent cocktails. Went back on Sunday for a nightcap.

Juke box, pool table, and shiner bock = happy camper

Definitely a vibe. Quite tasteful for what it is, just not my particular cup of tea. Was here for an event. Clean, high quality food/drink. If you’re into that, you’ll probably like it. Very “country” / mining themed, obviously.

Bouncer very disrespectful. Made us call police for a real ID. Do not go to this bar

How do I do 0 stars? Disrespectful and ride bouncer took my ID (turning 29) and then taunted us about it until the cops came.(he's the one in all black) Showed him passport photo, TSA, ETC and instead he went on a power trip and made a cop come out of his way to scan it only for it to be real. Not to mention the rest of the family also had the same New Jersey IDs. Was there two nights before! Bouncer was berating us and laughing about it. Horrible establishment. Get a scanner and don't make people stand in a blizzard and waste cops time. 0 stars

Nice speakeasy bar. Comfortable seating.Stage for weekend live music. Both cocktails i tried were delicious -Roxy’s Mule - loved that you could taste the gin; the ginger beer didnt overpower the drinkPancho Villa - the drink had a chili flavor, not a chili spiciness if that makes sense. So delicious and well made. One of my friends got a beer and it came in a chilled mug! Respect.
