Had a reservation at 7:00 and arrived early, about 6:45. It was a good thing we did because they rushed us and wanted us out shortly after 8:00. We had one large margarita each at $22 each (a bit pricey in my opinion). It was good but that is a lot of money for a drink!Guacamole Hummus was a good appetizer but when we needed a few more chips to finish it, we were charged $2 extra. It was taco Monday, so we got those at $5 each. It was my friend’s birthday so I mentioned that and there was no response. Not even a “happy birthday” greeting let alone a token of something to commemorate it. 20% gratuity added on for two people without a choice. A really expensive meal. The food was good but not a satisfying birthday celebration.

I have been here now 3 times. My first time was amazing but things have obviously changed. The older lady working around 6p on 5/30/2023 was rude as h***. She didn't seem to want to be at work.In addition, I have ordered the same thing each time, the birria tacos. Initially the birria tacos were FULL sized tacos, cooked to perfection with a large side of consome. The last 2 times here, the birria tacos have now moved from a FULL size to a street taco size. Why?

Wow! What a nice surprise! Spent time at hospital for some testing, Left exhausted in pouring rain, needing some good Mexican food. Found this small restaurant nearby. It was not real busy but had few hungry others eating. The limited menu allowed for everything to be prepared perfectly within a reasonable time. The full bar is a bonus! Highly recommend. A little tricky to find but worth the mission!

Savory and freshly prepared food. The service was great, friendly and accommodating bartender. It's a relaxing atmosphere to meet friends.

Very misleading business. False advertising on their menu. For example, they say they have $8 Frozens and daiquiris and margaritas are clearly under the section "Frozens". However, when you order they say "oh no , those aren't part of the Frozens it's just the shots that are $8". Again both Daiquiri and Margaritas are both clearly very obviously under Frozens on their menu. They also add a 20 percent tip even when the service is very poor and there are only two people in your party. This you find out at the end which is again very misleading. Small amount of price for the amount of food you get. Extremely limited menu. Attached is the receipt with only two cokes no alcoholic drinks. Very expensive for the quality, quantity and very poor service when you interact with anyone working there. Definitely save your money and go some place else like the pub across the street.

This place is one of the biggest rip offs I've ever witnessed. The restaurant has an upscale, trendy atmosphere, but when we came in on a weeknight evening, it was almost completely dead, which should have been our first clue. We were seated quickly and staff were responsive. The menu is quite limited- a couple apps, tacos, and a 1-2 bowls/salads. For the price of a $6-8 taco, I was picturing a large taco but boy was I wrong. Instead, the taco was literally the size of my palm and not filling at all. We got a salad too to supplement our sad tacos but even that was overpriced at $17 and mostly lettuce. We weren't even full and I paid $40 for 3 sad tacos and one salad. After eating here, because we were still hungry, we walked over to Cedar Creek Pub which is a much better deal for similar food.

Smallish menu but plenty of great choices and we certainly had plenty to eat. Poblano enchilada starter, chopped salad, lamb taco and veggie samosa taco were all really good. Salsas were fresh, house made and tasty; just the right amount of heat. Liked that the pineapple jalapeno marg wasn't too sweet. Surprising that it wasn't busier, although it's a new area and still lots of construction.

evening. We did not get drinks but they have a variety of alcoholic beverages available for purchase. Their menu features the classic chips and salsa/guac/queso, tacos, and a few additional appetizers. My girlfriend and I each ordered a taco ($6-7 each) and a salad bowl with shrimp ($17). Our total bill was $40 (gratuity is included here but there is an option to tip additionally). While the food was overall good, it was definitely not worth what we paid for. The tacos, which we expected to be quite large for $6-7, were actually the size of our palm. I was actually shocked when they arrived. The shrimp salad came with maybe 4 shrimp. While the flavor was good, it was not nearly enough food for the 2 of us. We were still hungry afterward and ended up going across the street to a more affordable pub to grab more food and drinks. Would not recommend this place- it is overpriced and there are other good options in the area. Again, we don't want to speak poorly of the staff because they did an excellent job, but this is not a sustainable business model.

Food is always good, margaritas are always good. My problem is the prices. I visited Ambli a couple times prior to its "rebranding" and thought it was overpriced. Visited after the rebrand and was told they were trying to target the people in the area (med students, healthcare workers) which to me makes me feel they would lower prices. The first visit after rebrand I had 2 tacos (street tacos the size of my palm) that were $7 each and paid and an extra $5 for rice & beans. The second time I got it to go, I paid $12 for a salad and an extra $5 for shrimp. I got 4 pieces of shrimp and it's essentially chopped lettuce with some corn. OH plus 10% service charge for takeout containers??? Picture was after a couple bites. Why in the world is it so expensive?

Food and drinks here are always delicious and the staff is very friendly and attentive. We understand they will be closed for the next 6 to 7 weeks for a revamp but a new location is open in the DTC. Highly recommend

Have gone a couple of times and have always enjoyed the atmosphere. It is small, so definitely make a reservation. There is always great music playing but not loud enough where you can't have a conversation. I have tired the Chile rellenos, shrimp tacos, birria tacos, and the guacamole. I have really enjoyed all of them and they all have great flavor. The portions are small. The price is a little high but I think worth it. Will definitely be back. The staff VERY friendly and made the dinner enjoyable.

My complete experience was amazing. From start to finish everything was perfect. To start we had the Potato Croquette. I had the Fish Tempura Tacos and she had the Queso Birria Tacos, for dessert we had the fluffiest Caramel Flan ever. The food was amazing, the margaritas were fresh and tasty, the service was second to none. I have no compliants. Give this spot a try, you won't be disappointed.Parking: Street parking available for free (2 hr limit)

The manager is great. Her staff never showed up so she was waiting all the tables too. Good service in-spite of staffing issues. This is a great spot if you have to do anything around university hospitals. Parking is easy too. A wonderful outdoor park across the street

This was our last and best meal after a week of travel around the state of Colorado. We are huge Mex fans and both the margaritas and the meals were fantastic. My husband had the house marg, while I tried the pineapple habanero...both were well balanced and absolutely excellent. We ordered the chicken tinga enchiladas and the birra (brisket) tacos and were thrilled with both. Our kudos to the chefs/food prep team. Last but not least, our waiter Doug was spot on with his recommendations and attention to our table. Highly recommend!
