Customer service was awful... they took 45 min to split our bill because they forgot we were paying separately.. so each time they brought our receipt, charges were incorrect. We all gave up after so many tries and paid for wrong orders. This happened to the 5 of us on our table. Honestly, the food was not the best either. We came because of the high reviews but seems like people truly don't know about asian (sushi) food. Thank God they offer other dishes in their menu... Nothing wrong with the food, it is just not the best quality. It tastes poorly. I rather have P.f Chang's, lol! Seems like the new transition after being bought by a different owner has change dramatically ... service is terrible.

I have always liked Bangkok Tokyo. The food is usually good both for the sushi and the Bangkok side of the menu. However, my daughter ordered the Katsu Bento dinner and the Katsu was not good. The pork was basically non existent. It was breaded with the thinnest slice of pork possible, so bread on bread, which made it hard. I ordered the salmon teriyaki bento and the salmon was very thin and overcooked. The bento box was not presented well. Our table had ordered 4 bento dinners which come with sushi rolls. It was not in our box. They told us it was coming. When it finally came, 4 separate rolls were on one plate. I had to ask them to put it in each individual bento box. Not sure why they did it that way. The server then took our individual chopsticks and put it in our empty spot in our box. I felt it wasn't very professional. I would normally give it 4-5 stars but not right now. The service still has issues. Some of the servers are friendly but some acted like they were annoyed, the service is very slow. It was a third full so the service should have been better. Will go back again for the food, and hope the service is better.

Excellent and quick service, really good food. We recently enjoyed their sushi and they didn't disappoint. Support local businesses! I wish we had more diversity of cuisines in this area. I was so sad to see yet another McDonald's come up.

We have been loyal customers for 12+ years ordering several times a week. We loved the owner Jessie, Peter and Lanny and the way they ran their business.Recently they sold the business and unfortunately the food and service has seriously declined.We recently ordered delivery and also dined in multiple time and we’re very disappointed with the service and the quality of the sushi.The rolls are 30 - 50% smaller. The flavors and quality have declined especially for the prices.We ordered our favorite J-4 Roll and it was so small and it was literally visually embarrassing looking. It came dry with no sauce…totally awful. A total waste of $15++ dollars.We were hoping that this change was due to a new owner learning curve…but it’s not.We are very sad that our favorite restaurant is no longer that. We will not be returning. ☹️

Bangkok-Tokyo WAS the best sushi in the metro area. I don’t know what happened to the sushi chefs they are gone and so is the quality and service. It is not good food anymore. We have tried twice after seeing the transition and it tastes poorly and the service is terrible.

I placed a relatively large order for a party of 12 friends and the order was ready on time and without any misses or issues. Like any restaurant that tries to do so many cuisines together (Japanese, Thai, and Chinese, really because half of the dishes in the Thai section of the menu are not Thai) there are certain dishes that are better than others here. The Thai Basil chicken and Vietnamese noodles bowls are a general fav.

We ordered pick up sushi and sesame chicken and were extremely disappointed. When I arrived to pick up our food, I had to wait an extra 15 minutes, and after returning home 10 minutes later found the sesame chicken to be luke warm, rubbery, and just not good. The sushi was not great, but at least was the correct temperature. Pricey for the quality received.

The restaurant was open, but they canceled my Uber Eats order without an explanation an hour after I placed it and 20 minutes before it was supposed to be delivered...

The least authentic Japanese/Thai food I think I’ve ever tasted.You know it’s bad when P.F. Chang’s is waaaay more authenticThe score went up to a two from a one because I ordered takeout and they said 20 minutes and it was spot on. So they sure can time it out.

This place is serving fatty white tuna which is actually escolar. Italy and Japan have banned the sale of escolar due to its potential side effects. It has been banned for consumption in Japan since 1977, as the Japanese government considers it toxic. I didn't know any of this until i started having digestive issues and looked up this fish.
