I can't say that I've tried any of their pastries, but I've had my share of their coffee, AND IT'S GREAT! There's typically a nice man who takes my order and makes the coffee. If that man isn't the owner, he sure acts like it, because he takes great care in preparing my coffee just the way I request. It can be a little too warm in there sometimes, but when it isn't, I like to chill out at the round table.
The coolest atmosphere I've ever experienced in a café, great coffee, and really nice staff. They also make fantastic seasonal specials that are always quite inventive and tasty.

For my taste, Bean Tree has the best coffee. But this shop is most unique as there is such a sense of peace there. The decor is unique also, subtle but so distinctive. It takes time to appreciate. The employees are very nice and friendly.
