I ordered online and had a friend pickup the food as I was 2 minutes up the street at the hospital. The food was not edible and the fries looked hard & cold. Needless to say I'll be patronizing this restaurant again. I called the store right away but I was only able to leave a message so I discarded the food so it wouldn't stink up the hospital room. The owner finally returned the message yesterday which was 1-2 days later letting me know they don't provide refunds unless you bring the food back! That information would've been helpful on the exact day I called to let them know the food wasn't edible but no one answered the phone or returned the call in a few days. No one is keeping old stinky food. I'll stick to the chicken restaurants that use fresh products.

After a meeting nearby, I found myself craving something new. A quick search brought me to Blazing Bird. PRO: Located across from the Ann Schutz Campus off I-225 and Colfax, Blazing Bird is in a prime location. CON: This location has notoriously terrible parking, and it can be difficult to enter and exit the parking lot. Oof. PRO: There's a variety of options that are all customizable in spice level to cater to your preference. CON: Like others have said, their hot isn't as hot as spice-lovers would like. I also noted that the hot really wasn't that hot. Perhaps the adjective "blazing" is a stretch here. Perhaps Seasoned Bird would be a more fitting name... PRO: Guy working at the register was nice enough to bring my order to my table. CON: This really didn't make up for the awkward experience ordering. I just don't think the guy at the register understood that I wanted a meal, but instead of a drink, I wanted a milkshake. That turned into a whole thing. I ended up with a vanilla milkshake that accidentally had a squirt of chocolate and a drink. Plus, bringing my order to my table held up the line of patrons waiting to order. Unfortunately this all just made it a meh experience. It was an okay experience, but I'm not rushing back to Blazing Bird anytime soon.

Good was good. Ordered Blazing fries - good for 2; the early bird - the bun was soggy; Blazing quesadillas - was good and crispy and 10 pieces of Buffalo wings. I requested for mild - but it was not spicy enough. Check this place out when in Denver.

Ordered through Uber eats received within 30 minutes. Chicken was very tender then expected. Only disappointed thing was ordered the large fries and paid extra but I don't think I got the large. And ordered the extra sauce on the side but never got it.

The guy that took our order is an idiot. Some tall Hispanic young guy. Anyhoot, I asked for number 1, he asked how hot I said hot and I asked for a side of fries. Then my husband asked for the grilled chicken sandwich. He asked how hot? He replied with hot as well. He asked my husband if wanted to make it a meal. I told him oh, yeah, we will just make it a meal since it has fries and my husband usually gets a drink and I get water. He reads back the order but there was only my order of the chicken sandwich with the meal option and not his sandwich. He obviously wasn't fvckin listening, not very bright either. Wasn't even busy. Definitely not here for the service. Hopefully the food is good. Food was ok. Mistook this place for Dave's Hot Chicken. The bread was too thick. Fries came out warm/cold. Not fresh out the fryer. So sad. Definitely not coming back.

Popped in this little place after a hospital visit and the food is quite good. Thankfully, they had an original spice for those of us who can't tolerate Nashville Hot Chicken. Brian got medium, my son got mild, and I got no spice. Bring your wallet $$ because lunch for three was $42. There are lots of different choices on the menu. Restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. Bathrooms were clean and tables were handicap accessible. Parking in a lot or on the street. We will be back!!

I'll start by saying that any place that sells hot chicken outside of Nashville probably isn't going to compare. I will say that the chicken was juicy and flavored well so that's a win. The comeback sauce is not my favorite but my family liked it. The sandwich without the sauce was definitely good and I'd come back for it As far as spice level. The medium is barely spicy. The mild is non existent. The Mac and cheese was a bit wet but it tasted great ?? overall id have to go back and try the hot and higher levels of spice because it's probably a big jump from medium to hot. Environment not necessarily welcoming to eat inside...they must be still new with boxes stacked towards the back. No music was playing ??\\u200d♀️

I would keep 2 stars but because the inside of the breading the chicken itself is tender and juicy the breading is not it no flavor service was not the greatest as the customer service was good but seems like they were training ppl they had got my order wrong 3 times and still didn't get it correct upon checking in the car no new update as I have never been back or plan on going back after this steep bill an incorrect order only way I will give a 3rd chance is if it's on the house as I visited their other location before this one opened I like my chicken crispy and this was not crispy just hard but not hard if that makes sense I literally peeled the breading to eat the chicken and not let it go to waste the ambience is nice just limited selection what you can get I don't know what separates it from their competitors as they don't have a lot to offer theirs a whole lot better than this around for less I mean to be honest kfc Nashville hot tenders are way better not much less but way better in my opinion I don't see them around long unless they update their menu items and make the prices reasonable even though the don't have Nashville hot canes or Slims is go to for tenders I'm also concerned as to why they are so BIG and to sit and wait for it supposedly coming fresh and hot but was room temperature by the time I walked to the car 1st time shame on you 2nd shame on me for giving a another attempt because it's a newer location 3rd would just be asking for it as the owner doesn't even read reviews
Ordered a chicken sandwich it had one small chicken tender. The chicken tender plater had the hot spiced poured on had to wipe the spice off in order to eat it. All the food tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. For the $36. I could of had a sit down steak dinner. Never again!

I ordered the chicken tenders and honestly they were perfectly breaded, with so much meat, fireeee sauce, it was exactly what I was looking for. The only reason I knocked it a star is because this is my second time picking up and you usually have to wait a little bit either because it's not ready when it says it is or there is no one helping with the pick up orders. But other than that, the place is new and clean and I'm sure will be successful!

First time eating here. I had heard a lot of positive things about this place and they did disappoint. The place is small and cozy, located in a shopping center near Colfax and Potomac next to the highway entrance. They have a simple menu with just a small variety of choices, but the food is outstanding. We ordered their chicken sandwiches , one had California Cole slaw on top, and the other had a fried egg and some type of sauce. We scarffed them down. They sell fried pickles and wild fries. It's definitely worth returning to. They sell chicken wings with an array of hot sauces.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. We’re usually hesitant on trying new places because most of the time it’s a let down. But wow we’re we impressed. Every part of this meal was amazing. Unfortunately, the quality has gone downhill since open. The past two times ive ordered, once from a delivery service and went to pick up tonight for another chance and it has no longer been very good. Seem to haphazardly just dump hot powder on top of fried chicken and throw ingredients together. Chicken is overcooked and dry. It was already expensive for what you get and now its definitely not worth the price. Check your bag to make sure you get everything you ordered as well, they tend to forget sauces.
