Decent food, but the budaejigae soup is nothing to write home about. It wasn't spicy at all like in Korea and it didn't really have a strong stew taste, but was more like a cup of shinramen (but less spicy). The toppings inside weren't bad, I liked the ham and hot dogs inside and ramen. Portion was not bad for sharing. Still, I've had better and expect better for this year. I wouldn't go back again. Not worth going out of your way for.

Five stars relative to other Korean restaurants in the metro area. The service was excellent on my first visit.Dokboki is good and served on a warming plate. Nice presentation. I like this older style better than the cheesy stuff they serve nowadays at the Korean-style fried chicken places. The regular fried chicken is on par with the hof-style chicken you can get in South Korea, and I liked it more than the hof-style chicken they serve at any of the Korean chicken places in town. Buldak is not good or prepared with that nice open flame taste, but it usually isn't in the U.S. I am looking forward to returning to try dak galbi.

Got our take out order wrong. We noticed it on the receipt before leaving, but they insisted the order was right and the receipt was wrong. Got home, definitely the wrong order (ordered ganjang chicken, got seafood soup). When we called the restaurant, the lady who answered insisted "chicken is soup", this phrase was even repeated by her. Gave up after a couple minutes. 2 stars instead of 1 because the part of the order that was correct was tasty.
We ordered the army soup, fried chicken with sweet chili sauce and kimchi pancake. The chicken was hot and crispy with a fair portion, the kimchi pancake was packed with kimchi and the army soup was flavored nicely. I think it could've used a few more slices of hot dog and spam but overall was good. Great atmosphere and staff was friendly. I'll visit again!

This pocha is a long standing establishment in Aurora, right next to the hmart. It's a good place to relax after a long day. They play a lot of K-pop and will have some games on the tv (football, soccer, basketball). The bar doesn't have many options but they have the solid common offerings. The bathroom used to be very sketchy but they recently remodeled it to be cleaner and nicer. The restaurant can get quite busy and there's not that many servers. They do have call buttons so be patient. But order as much as you think you need at the beginning and you'll be set. I think the service is decent under these conditions. The fried chicken is great. It's half sweet half spicy and covered in the sauce. The skin remains very crispy. The meat is very juicy. We also got the army stew, it's nothing out of this world but it's quite filling. There's also a tofu, stir fried kimchi, and pork belly dish that's great. It's not filling but it tastes pretty dang good. The bon chin (little side dishes of food) is very simple. Bean sprouts, picketed onions, daikon, and kimchi. It's good though. The bowls of rice here cost extra just fyi.

The service is super slow and rude. The food was under seasoned and limited. If you're in Aurora I can promise there's better authentic kbbq near by.
A great place for late night eats. I found this place a few years ago and have to go eat here every time I come back to the Denver area.
