Small portions of your protein but big portions on noddles and rice. Experience was great. Cook makes it fun for everyone but front desk ladies bring to go box as soon as you start eating. We felt like we were rush by them. Check also comes out right away.
My wife and I had chicken teriyaki and chicken fried rice. The chicken was so overdone we did not eat it. It came with a salad and soup that were very disappointing. Very sad dining experience.Nice people and excellent service.VERY poor food

Always a favorite for birthdays and celebrations. Certain chefs put on a better show thank others so make sure to call ahead if you're looking for some entertainment too

Usually, the hibachi cook is entertaining and makes great food. Unfortunately, on Valetines Day 2024 our cook was boring, had to ask him for the sauces, the cook were under cooked, and the shrimp was burnt on the outside and raw on the inside. I think the grill was too hot, but I am only the customer. He only got a 10% tip where usually I do 20%. I hope this was just an off night.

Sadly, they did not serve us and when making the food they were very fast and when delivering the food they also gave us boxes so that we could leave the place quickly.. I will never return to this place.. They served us very forcefully.. as if that were not enough for me. The food came a hair, so it was better for me to stay silent since all the staff were partying...

Warm and inviting little hibachi restaurant. Everyone from the older gentleman that greeted us upon arrival to the hostess and the runners in between were all smiling and pleasant. The sushi I ordered was five huge slices, twice as big as what I'm used to. We ordered the hibachi chicken and steak dinner, sharing one order for a $7 surcharge. It was still more good than we could eat. It came with miso soup, a small salad, fried (or steamed) rice, noodles and vegetables. Everything was delicious and there was so much of it! They have a full bar and Pepsi products. I noticed the soft background music, which lent a very nice ambiance.

A super solid place for a solo lunch or with a small group. I have always been immediately seated when visiting and dishes come out super quick. Service with a smile with an izakaya feel. I know this place offers hibachi too and there is a whole other section. However, the restaurant section feels nice and homie. Mt Fuji is located in a tucked corner of a strip mall. If you're not looking for it you are surely to miss it so plug it into your map software and give it a go. Great food and excellent service make for a well rounded experience!

This restaurant has gone down hill. Extremely uncleanly. Also, not sure if something is wrong with the exhaust system but the entire restaurant had a haze, and potent smell of smoke. Last time I was at this location it was not like that. After the chief cooks, water is sprayed onto the hot grill. A large bellow of smoke went into the air, at least 2 feet high. Where as before the smoke would be sucked into the exhaust at the end of the grill. The effect was neat to watch looked like a wave and would not dissipate into the air. The smell of smoke was so strong the back of my throat and chest became irritated. Let me also mention, while waiting for my reserved table I watched the bar tender pour a mixed drink for a customer. She then poured the remaining alcohol drink into a working colleagues coffee cup! Getting tipsy while working is a thing now I suppose.

I've been going to this Mt. Fuji for 11 years, and I've never once had a bad experience! The Japanese Hibachi is tasty, the experience always fun, and I'd recommend this for anyone! If you like Benihana's, you'll love Mt. Fuji as well!
