I'm a native and have seen this place most of my life but had never been in. I have read most of the reviews and am puzzled by most of them and amused by alot also. Yes I am giving a star just for the whimsy negative reviews. The one about food presentation was the most amusing. If they wanted presentation they should have gone elsewhere and pay for the stalk of parsley and a slice of orange, myself would prefer to pay for product. If you look at and read the reviews you'll notice that almost all of them are petty preferences I didn't read any that said the food was awful. BOTTOM LINE! This place is a blast from the past. 1) Great food 2) Down to earth atmosphere 3) Awesome pricing 4) huge portions I can't say any negative about my experience and will start frequenting this establishment regularly. If your a regular person this is the place to be, if your uptight and uppity this might not be the place for you. If you still stick your pinky out when you drink probably not the place you want to go to. Now, If you want to relax and enjoy yourself and get some good food this should be your destination before, during, after work.

First and foremost,Arapahoe County has a mask mandate in place and the person behind the counter didn't have a mask anywhere in sight. Now for the restaurant. This restaurant was recommended to me as a great burger place. Much to my surprise most of the menu is not burgers, but instead it is Mexican. The burger and fries were mediocre at best. On another note, the restaurant was not very clean. Dirty tables, sticky salt shakers, and things spilled on the floor and not cleaned up. This was my first visit and my last.

Used to be good. Frozen patties, cheap french fries, burnt edges. Just not Gus's anymore

Delicious, and affordable old school food. Got their Jr. Deluxe burger special for less than $8.00, which included fries and a small drink. Classic charbroiled burger, and the fries actually tasted like potatoes, not like freezer burn unlike many fast food joints. Definitely a better old school burger than the Fat burger in the shopping plaza nearby

Decent food and the burgers are huge! The environment was a little worn down, but who doesn't love finding a great hole in the wall place like this.

Pretty extensive menu, lots to choose from. I had a cheeseburger that tasted really good, but it was mostly lettuce and bread. #wheresthebeef?

Not Gonna Like? The burger wasn't bad, but I'm not sure anyone or anything wants to be there. Soda machine was out of ice. Table tops were low-key sticky. Pepsi tasted really oxidized (although I love that). Closes at 7 and really they make it kind of clear that 6:30 is when they would really like to close. I'd avoid, but it wasn't awful.

Been there twice . My second time taking my pregnant daughter in law an my 2 children to get some lunch.... As we went to finish cup an go pay we saw a mouse sitting behind my son's foot .. .. not to nice to see .. I've read the reviews about this place prior to visiting but I've always been the type to give businesses a chance but after seeing that I will not be going back..

For a place with burgers in their name, their menu was only 10% burgers, and they were basically the ones I used to be served in the high school cafeteria. Their salads looked sad and the Mexican food (yes, at a supposed burger place) we also ordered was mediocre at best. I'm so confused why this would even be called a burger place. This is apparently a breakfast/Mexican/cafeteria food joint. The amount of great reviews absolutely baffles me. I'm convinced they're all fake. Until they pick a brand, I wouldn't waste another second here. I should've just sat in the hour long In-n-Out line.

Not that bad, but not really something to shake a leg at. I will say, for the amount I paid I definitely got WAY more than I expected. The presentation of the food was not great at all. Not only did it look as if everything was just thrown together but I didn't ask for my burrito to be smothered (as I don't like it) although it for sure was. I realize businesses are struggling but a little effort goes a long way. During the current situation its a bit unsettling to have someone just place your silverware on the not clean table without napkins and bare hands. The mandate is acknowledged to the bare minimum. The service is mediocre to boot. The floors were a bit dirty as well. All in all 3/5 because the complete experience was mediocre.

Amazing food, had the 1/2 pound pastrami hamburger with cheese (thousand island dressing on the side). So yummy, will come back for breakfast, sandwiches, and mexican food.

The food wasn’t bad. Meat was to small for 1/4 lb label super thin patty. Customer service wasn’t good. Guy had an attitude.

So to start on a positive note the food was pretty good. The fries are delicious and the burger was good. But upon walking in the man is standing at the counter eating, he has no mask on the whole time I've sat eating. He's not the most hospitable person which doesn't bother me at all but you like a place where the person behind the counter is nice id say go somewhere else. Another thing I observed is the man after eating did not wash his hands while preparing my meal. I'm not picky about things but after working g the food industry for five years washing your hands after touching things or every few minutes at the least is a must. 2 stars for the the food but 1 star on service and cleanliness
