Passed by this food truck driving somewhere and decided to stop and give it a try. Absolutely phenomenal. So much flavor in the shawarma. Fries had incredible spices. Chef D even threw in some fired plantains which were equally as good as everything else. Also if you like hibiscus, I highly recommend the bissap drink.

I got the wings and the spicy beef pastries at the Juneteenth festival and everything was exceptional! Looking forward to trying the rest of the menu!

We passed Pikine grill's booth today during festivities downtown. They were playing jovial music, and had an open grill that drew you directly to their booth with the incredible aroma. We ordered the chicken brochette combo. This comes with Jollof rice and fries. We also got an order of the plantains. The chicken was severed on skewers with caramelized onions that were perfectly sweet and salty from the marinade, while the chicken was so juicy and flavorful. The Rice itself could have been a perfectly satisfying dish, but worked great with the chicken. The staff was friendly and obviously having fun cooking, and it really showed in this dish. I hope to come back soon and try the wings!

Contracted Pikine Grill Food Truck for an event on our college campus and they were phenomenal! They got through a huge line that lasted 3 hours, played music, engaged with students, and were so nice and wonderful to work with and interact with. Everybody loved them and the food was amazing! We will definitely be reaching out again!

Chef D has a true gift with food. He’s catered for our office twice now (I’m an employee) and both times were out of the park. The flavors of his dishes will truly make you grateful for your tastebuds! He is also a very genuine individual ??

Absolutely the very BEST African food in Colorado and arguably the US! Chef David cooks from the heart, has awesome customer service, has the most authentic and prepares the most delicious Senegalese food. I especially love his fried plantains, hot crispy fries, and chicken brochette. His food is so addictive and his hot sauce is out of this world! I’ve visited Senegal and had their wonderful street food and I’m telling you Chef David elevates Senegalese food to a higher level of excellence…highly recommend!!

I absolutely love Pikine. The food was fabulous. I had the dibi. If you have never experienced the wonderful tastes of Senegal, TRY PIKINE!!!. Now to the owner. I traveled from California and was anxious to visit the Pikine food truck, remember Dibi, this was my purpose of visiting Pikine. This is not a dish served everywhere. I contacted Pikine to find their location, unfortunately I was not able to access their location because of the location protocols. Hearing of my situation, Mr Diop, reached out to me to make it right. And boy did he. He make me a special order and delivered it personally on his day off!!! Who does that? I was amazed by his generosity, kindness and his desire to make his customers happ, even this foodie traveler who he could have been just a missed customer. I appreciate the thought and loving effort Mr Diop made to shares his culture, food and family. If I ever find my way in Dener again.. I will find you and get some more of your delicious Dibi...

1st time having grilled lamb and fried plantains. 100% recommend! I would also encourage you to buy a bottle of the sauce. I ordered food and ate at home. Made my boyfriend drive over with some more sauce. he didn't mind. He was happy I enjoyed it. I'm from the south! And mane this place GOOD too me! The owner was very friendly, and told me I would be looking for him after I tried his food. I'm looking for him!
