This restaurant was located across the parking lot of the Tru Hilton, so it was easy and quick to make a run through the heavy rain. It was well worth it. The staff was kind. Everyone had smiles and greeted us with eagerness. I enjoyed the carnitas with corn tortillas and it was good. The pork was tender. The salsa choices were flavorful and the Pico De Gallo was fresh. None of the food was so over-seasoned that took away from the natural flavors. Good job, folks!

Stopped in for a late afternoon Margarita...first time there. First, there was a strong odor of dirty bathrooms upon entering, and could still smell it after being seated. Ambiance was non-existant, just dingy wood tables and chairs...no plants, artwork or decor. Service was good, and Margaritas were supreme, but we will not be back.

This place is fabulous! We ventured here cause quite frankly we are over Los dos. They got too big too fast. This place is authentic, has great margaritas and for what you pay the portions are great. I will be a new regular with my husband! We were both super impressed!

Very slow service followed by poor quality/borderline inedible food. So disappointed.

Really great restaurant! The carne asada flavor is so good and the patatas bravas with it are very flavorful! The molcajete appetizer was really good as well.

The atmosphere and the servers are great. However, I ordered the carne asada and it was in some areas overcook and some areas were undercooked( almost raw). Recommend the restaurant whenever it is not super busy. If too crowded would recommend the restaurant next-door just because the service did take awhile.

Always check your order before you leave this place!!! "Manager" is a jagoff and spineless and the waitress/waiter's are what the French call "Les Incompentant"

Customer warning . . . a 20% gratuity is automatically added to your bill and shown in the final number at the bottom of the receipt. Also at the bottom is a blank line to add (another) gratuity. I reviewed my credit card statement in a dark area for a large party of diners. Yup, I missed the fine print with the added gratuity and saw only the final amount. It was a memorable night for our server with two large tips. When I got home and took another look at our bill, the mistake was discovered. I called the restaurant to try to recover my error in the form of a credit. (Good luck!) Asking for the manager, the person answering the phone said, "he's not here." (On a Sunday night at 7pm?) Asking for his name and time when he might be on site, he hung up. Oh, by the way, the food was lukewarm when in got to our table and I should have brought a jackhammer to cut the meat. The Margarita was 2/3 ice. Of all the other Mexican restaurants I have visited in Denver, this one dwells at the bottom of the list. Other than that, we had a wonderful family get-together.

Food is as great, service although very nice but it wasn't attended often and it wasn't attentive at all. We were constantly giving them empty glasses and chip baskets. We were a party of four but for all the dishes the space was overwhelmed. Definitely worth a try for the food.

The best Mexican food in town. It's a little bit sophisticated, the street corn is amazing, well, everything is!! Service is great! It's a little pricey, but very well worth it!

Overall our meal was good, but not great. We asked for the restaurant week menu but they said it was not available (5pm). The table next to us was offered the restaurant week menu 15 minutes later. The prickly pear margarita was fantastic! $10 for elota seems excessive for one cob. it was tableside - which meant waiter cut it off the cob at the table. Flavor was average. The fajitas were flavorful and include amazing plantains. It seemed strange that the Hanger steak meal tasted exactly the same except the fajitas came with tortillas. The churros were hot and tasty with Carmel sauce.
