Horrible. I could tell the beef ribs looked like they had been cooked days prior, then when we get our food it’s cold to the touch. Yes, the ribs were cold as if they just came out of a fridge. I told him they were cold and he grabbed them, put them in the microwave for 5:00 exactly and then proceeded to try and give it to me.. nasty as ever. This place needs to be shut down. Coming from out of town this was THEE worst “soul” food I’ve ever had. And the people were African, not even African American where soul food originated from.

I went a few times and the gizzards dam near pulled my teeth they were overcooked I was craving gizzards again so I gave them another try and then gizzards was good as hell.so I decided I wanted to get some last week the last who made them was so nice I gave her a tip.i got home and couldn't wait to try them .excuse my language but I was mad as fuck .I opened them up and they were burnt.i was so hungry I gave them a try what a disappointment.i wanted to take them back but I love near airport and they're in Aurora .I went next day which was Sunday n they were closed .I called but they NEVER answer so I wrote a note and mentioned what happened n ask if they could give me a new order.i only ate one of the.burnt they never responded.ill never go back

They charged $38on a plate for one personI ordered catfish, greens, baked potato, and peach cobbler. On everything, this was the NASTIEST food I have ever put in my mouth! The fish was unseasoned ,soggy and greasy! The greens were straight out of a can!! Not fresh at all!!The baked potato and hush puppies were missing. They sent some disgusting, room temp unseasoned, potato salad. The peach cobbler resembled bread pudding, was gummy, doughy and tasted like gasoline! It was all unfit for consumption!!!!!DISGUSTING! DO NOT ORDER!

COULDN'T BELIEVE MY EARS!went in to pick up an order when the poor gentleman next to me (also picking up) was being told to practically F$@# OFF for telling an older gentleman with glasses (hope to God not the owner!) to smile. I will add that the gentleman next to be was being nice. This will absolutely be my last time picking up here! Take your money where the customer is appreciated. Truly disappointed!!!!!

I had my food delivered so cant say anything about service ot atmosphere. However, i ordered 2 meals, and wasted $70+. The food was bland and utterly tasteless. Too much bread crumbs, not enough seasoning. The rice looked like a disgusting 'lump' of something. The mac & chs, mehhhh ok i guess. But what a monumental waste of my hard earned money. I don't know who told these folks they could cook some soul food - but they were lied to. Learn what REAL soul food is!The peach cobbler, i'm still looking for even a piece of peach

Ordered delivery so it only makes sense to put friggin beans and liquidy sides into to go containers that dont seal so the one thin napkin they sent was used to sop up my food from the bag where it all leaked out. Thanks. Plasticware came unpackaged which is just disgusting from anywhere. My $20 catfish plate was the saddest plate ive ever seen. The catfish is ok. Plate came with catfish, fried okra (which is also just ok) and two pieces of white bread straight from the bag. $20 for the ate didnt even cover a sauce cup, they just tossed a handful of packets into the container. Which is disgusting because now its rubbed all over my food. Thanks. Also the sides are all tiny as hell. Id look elsewhere.

I have to give 2 stars for service, the gentleman taking out order was very quiet, he didn't look at us while we ordered, I asked about the swirk rice and he just said it was flavored, he didn't tell me it was actually gooscoos which was over cooked, the chicken had no seasoning, the fried okra was over cooked, the ribs were crunchy, taste boiled and baked, the mac and cheese was actually ok, the red beans and rice overwhelmed with seasoning, the cat fish was pretty good, could come with lemon though and they don't give enough tarter sauce for it, sadly we won't be returning.

They don't seem to answer their phone, so have to drive over there and wait for your order versus just picking it up. Small hassle but food is
