The waitress was a nice and polite girl, I believe she was new and in training. We ordered the mussels for an appetizer but they were out of the mussels. They also were out of the Seabass, but we didn't order that. My brother ordered the scallops and he said they were excellent. I ordered the Coco rubbed Filet. The steak itself was excellent, it had a nice Char on the outside. But in my opinion, the Chef needs to change the sauce that the Filet is served with. It is a Indian Curry type of sauce, not a good match with the steak. The Carrots and I believe it was sweet potatoe mashed were excellent. I wanted to order dessert but there was no chocolate type of dessert on the menu. So overall a good dining experience, but not perfect. I hope to come and try lunch when the patio is open during nice weather. Thank you.Update: I just noticed Bread in a picture in one of the other reviews, we never got served any bread, why is that? Downgrading it to 3 stars.Parking: We parked on the back side of the hotel on the street where the parking was freeWheelchair accessibility: It's a hotel, of course it's wheel chair friendly

Went for breakfast. Chicken Sausage cold. Eggs over easy were well prepared, English muffins cold, potatoes well prepared again inconsistent concerning warm and cold. Would not come for breakfast not worth the cost.

Beautiful ambience. Passable food. ABYSMAL SERVICE. First clue was empty tables. Many. The five that were occupied were largely ignored by wait staff. Took 40+ minutes for A SINGLE GLASS OF WINE TO ARRIVE. Absolutely unacceptable. They need to watch Top Chef or one of the other hundreds of restaurant shows in which patrons should only have to wait 5 minutes maximum for a drink order to be delivered. For the price of the ticket, we deserved better service. Figure it out, The Common Good!!!

We were looking for a good place for lunch in the Anschutz area of Aurora. The Common Good appeared to have high reviews, so we gave it a try. We were there Saturday around noon. The restaurant looked comfortable, and the tables were well spaced, however the floor was dirty. The experience declined rapidly from there. The server seemed distracted and forgot things we asked for after the food was served. We were all looking forward to the lunch menu, as we had previewed it online. The website stated it was available from 11-3 daily. Well, we were told lunch was not available, so we had to order from the Brunch Menu. We Ordered 4 different menu Items. They were all bland and tasteless, and the food was barely warm. The fries were outstanding though. So, one bright spot in an otherwise very disappointing experience for everyone. All for a premium price.

We finally got around to trying this restaurant. We've been looking for a nice, special event restaurant, but were worried that this one might be pretentious and overpriced. Unfortunately, we were right. I'm willing to spend more on great food, but this wasn't it. Don't waste your time or money. First, our waitress really wasn't welcoming and didn't seem happy to be there. The floor was filthy, the booths were stained, and I saw little bits of trash on them. If you want to pretend to be fancy, at least clean the space. The whole table was underwhelmed and disappointed with their food. It was bland, cold, and the quality wasn't great. We will continue with our search.

Food was magnificent! The staff was fantastic and it being a hotel restaurant it was surprisingly good.

I ate here 2 out of 3 nights I stayed at The Benson and I thoroughly enjoyed both meals. First was the tomato soup and the handmade pappardelle with short rib in a mushroom sauce - it was earthy and hearty and I couldn’t stop eating it. The second night I got their Classic Burger and it was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Service was great, even on a particularly busy night. I sat at the bar both nights. Highly recommend if you’re in the area or staying at the hotel!

One of the best meals I've had in awhile. The spiced apple martini was so good and every dish was spot on flavor wise. Service was great as well.

I'd like to thank The Common Good for feeding us, literally! We came to an even at the hotel a bit late and all thats left from the food spread is drink, lol. To our surprise, we received a coupon for a free appetizer up to a certain dollar amount at The Common Good and the staff was super nice to let us comp half off an entree instead (since we didn't find an app we desired and the value of it was almost half the price of an entree we were wanting) Service was super courteous even though they knew we were using a coupon and not ordering drinks (as we "filled up" from the event, lol) I think that says a lot about a restaurant! Our food came and I enjoyed every little bit of it. The scallops had a little twist to it thanks to the buffalo sauce and the lightly torched cauliflower. The burger is juicy and tender. Better than average pub burgers. Thank you for taking care of us!

Came here food was cold and horrible asked for manager and spoke to caitlin she told me "if i dont like it you can leave" instead of trying to better the experience maybe remake the meal so its not cold ANYTHING. Horrible experience.

Lovely ambience in a very nice hotel. I was in for breakfast on a weekday. Everyone was nice, but they're clearly short staffed. Our waiter was also the hostess, busser, barista, etc. This made service a little slow, although not the worst I've experienced. Food was middling. I had the eggs Benedict which I enjoyed, but the poached eggs had well done yolks--always a disappointment. The potatoes on the side were actually the star of the show; great flavor and beautifully crispy. My companion had chilaquiles, but while the flavor was good, the chips were really soggy. She didn't finish it. Lattes were small compared to the enormous cups they were served in and the chai didn't have any sugar added. At this price point I expect more.

Husband and I had brunch here on Saturday 2/10/24. Food was outstanding and very fresh, great service and environment. Cozy, intimate restaurant. It would be a great place for a dinner date! We can't wait to come back in the future!
