High Plains Diner Reviews
When I was a little girl, Colorado was filled with little ma and pop dinners. That time has passed, and more commercialized establishments have moved in. It's a small town diner with ok food. The Ruben tasted more like a Philly cheese steak. The prices are a bit much. For a side of coleslaw it was 4.00, and it was not worthy of theprice size wise or taste. There is also a fee to pay by credit card. This is a dinner kept in business by regulars and being in a small town without many options. It will do in a pinch but if you pass it by on your way through the area don't make a stop unless you really need to.

Great breakfast! Big portions and really good flavors.Big menu with lots of options to choose from. We had French toast, "The steamboat" omelette and the breakfast burrito - it's huge! and the green chile sauce is not hot but it's good.Vegetarian options: They had a veggie skillet and omelette option.
