I am from California, I have friends that own Mexican restaurants, I have tried all of the Mexican food in Boulder, this is the best in Boulder and it is not even close. 10/10 Al Pastor. This is still my go-to for quick street tacos in the area. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The staff are always nice and the agua fresca is good. Since it’s sort of a food truck, their hours are unpredictable—they might close due to weather. But if they’re open, be sure to stop by.

I almost had my last meal at this place today. I politely ordered a Torta De Barbacoa and a Orchata and tipped, as I sat down to eat I felt a poke in my mouth, I thought it might be a cilantro stem but as I continued chewing I felt a jolting pain in my mouth, I spit it out and found a 2 INCH PIECE OF WIRE. I contacted them to no avail. I am the father of 3 children and couldn't imagine what would have happened had I swallowed this wire. I HIGHLY SUGGEST CAUTION WHEN EATING HERE.

The style here is authentic, but the recipes are just not that tasty. I got three tacos, fish, pastor, and tripas. The only one that tasted good was the fish one. The other two were kind of nasty, with off flavors and not the best cooking technique. I'm used to tripas being crispy, but these were very rubbery and hard to eat. The tortillas were good, but the salsas were disappointing and too chunky to pour in a controlled way. The box they serve the tacos in makes them very difficult to pick up without either tearing the tortillas or having the having all the filling fall out. Service was pretty unfriendly, to boot. Don't think I'll be back.

Any place that calls you a "puta madre" and other obscenities under their breath for pointing out that the menu doesn't have 1) Platter price 2) Mexican coke price If you're going to order flautas this will not be the posted price because they're "trying to give you more food" - so just realize that. What that price is may not change but as a first time customer I wouldn't know that because this place doesn't post their prices. Go somewhere that doesn't have the only thing on the screen is "TIP 20 TIP 25 or TIP 30%" as the only options unless you scroll and scroll to the bottom where there's a no tip option. Combine that with the lack of identification for a mobile food truck and this place seems more sketchy than it should.

I really want to like this place - the people in the truck are super friendly and food is prepared quick. However, the size of the burritos is a bit of a let down (coke can for comparison). Ingredients are fresh and delicious, but I could easily eat two or three as they are more taco sized than proper burrito sized.I wish they would just add more filling to their burritos which would easily add a star to the rating, but for the burritos currently, unfortunately I cannot give more than three stars :/
